Amy Schumer Has the Perfect Response for Her Mesh Panty Critics
One of the wonderful things about social media is the freedom to post practically whatever one's heart desires, and the freedom to turn away should you not like what you see. Amy Schumer hasn't shied away from sharing her journey as a new mom -- including moments with those beloved hospital panties. Well, people (of course) had something to say, prompting the comedian to respond to the criticism in the best way.
To recap, Amy recently showed off her postpartum underwear for all to see on the 'Gram.
"5 weeks. Hospital underwear for life!" Amy wrote about rocking her hospital underwear in an Instagram post.
Hey, the struggle is real after giving birth, so we are here for whatever works. (Hospital panties are the truth!)
And after seeing criticism over her photos, Amy circled back with a message: #SorryNotSorry
"I'm really sorry if I offended anyone with my hospital underwear. Except I'm just kidding.#csection," Amy wrote in a separate Instagram post from her Instagram Stories, showing photos of herself and her C-section scar.
Needless to say, people are applauding Amy Schumer for not giving a flip what anyone thinks about her posts.
The verdict is in: Peeps are here for relatable mom moments.
There also here for that random guy who's eyeing Amy as she walks by. Looks like this mama still has the sauce (LOL).
To be honest, we aren't mad.
It's refreshing to see a mom not try to make herself look perfect. It adds unnecessary pressure to others who are struggling with night feedings, trying to adjust to life with a new baby, limited sleep -- you name it.
Amy has a thumbs up from us to show off her mesh panties when and where she sees fit. 'Cause heaven knows there are likely other mamas nearby who are also rocking those hospital bottoms and feel alone.
