The Duggars Could Be Returning to TV Sooner Than We Thought

After months of deliberation, TLC finally cut 19 Kids and Counting from their lineup in July. It was big news, but that doesn't mean the Duggars are off our TVs forever -- Jill and Jessa will be on a TLC special about sexual abuse later this month, and now Jana will be back on TV during Michaella Bates's wedding, in which she'll be a bridesmaid.

That's according to the Daily Mail, which reported that Michaella asked Jana to be in her wedding party well before Josh's molestation scandal broke. So now she's stuck with her, or something.

Apparently, the Bateses are a little worried that the Duggars, who are all invited, are going to stir up controversy during the wedding and use it as a soapbox or an opportunity to clear their name.

Or, well, wait a sec -- they're worried that Josh and his family or Jim Bob will make a fuss, but no one seems to think that Jana would do anything crazy or rude. I mean, of course she wouldn't. Jana's the best and the sweetest and also apparently still one of Michaella's best friends.

Michaella, who's the eldest Bates daughter, is marrying Brandon Keilen on Saturday at the Wallace Memorial Baptist Church in Knoxville, Tennessee. All the proceedings will be televised as a Bringing Up Bates special on UPtv.

Since the Duggars take up so much space when they're all together, there's a pretty good chance we'll be able to see more than just Jana on TV. But then again, maybe the editors of the show will cut around the Duggars and we'll see nothing at all? That wouldn't be the worst thing, because this is the Bateses' day, after all.
