Who doesn’t love a good celebrity smackdown? Twitter's 140-character limit didn't prevent these celebrities from engaging in social media feuds. The list of culprits won't likely surprise you (except for maybe Bette Midler starting beef with Ariana Grande, which seems totally weird). And what’s a Twitter fight without a Kardashian or two?

Take sides, don’t take sides, or just sit back and enjoy the drama that only the internet can erupt. Check out these crazy celebrity Twitter feuds!

They were child stars together, and most people assumed they'd be BFFs for life, but according to Lovato, “people change and fall apart.” Demi unfollowed Selena on Twitter and tweeted, “Swimming away from the bulls*** bye b****.” Gomez responded with a picture of herself in a zen yoga pose. No namaste between these pop princesses.

  • Khloe Kardashian & Amber Rose

There’s a whole lot of peeps involved in this feud: Rose, who dated Kanye West, blasted Tyga for dating a child (Kylie Jenner) when he was also dating her BFF, Blac Chyna, who's the mother of his child. This is where it escalated. Kardashian defended her little sis, as Kardashian sisters always do, by pointing out that Rose was a stripper at the age of 15, then adding, “Please don't worry about my sister who has a career and her s--- together at ONLY 17.” Rose responded by saying that she may have been a stripper, but at least she doesn’t have a sex tape, slamming older sis, Kim, in this epic Twitter drama.

  • Taylor Swift & Nicki Minaj

Here’s the backstory: Swift’s video for Bad Blood was nominated for a VMA, Minaj’s video for Anaconda was not. NBD, right? Not to Minaj, who took to Twitter to vent. One tweet said: “If I was a different 'kind' of artist, Anaconda would be nominated for best choreo and vid of the year as well.” There’s more: “Black women influence pop culture so much but are rarely rewarded for it.” And because two tweets aren’t enough: “If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year.” Eek! Swift replied: “I've done nothing but love & support you. It's unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot.” It ended with apologies and retreats on both sides, citing misunderstandings, but not before everyone from Kim Kardashian to Katy Perry joined the discussion

  • Chrissy Teigen & Katie Cassidy

Here’s how this Twitter battle went down: During a Seattle Seahawks football game, Stephen Amell, who stars opposite Katie Cassidy in Arrow, tweeted at sportscaster Erin Andrews (Teigen’s bestie) while she was reporting on the sidelines that she should ask Richard Sherman why he was staying on the field when he was considered a liability. Cassidy followed up, asking why Andrews wasn’t doing her job. Whoa!!! That’s when Teigen jumped to Andrews' defense, stating, “JOB [noun]: the work a person does regularly to make money. alt: what @ErinAndrews has. 2nd alt: What you don't have. Bye!” 'Nuff said.

  • Zayn Malik & Louis Tomlinson

It was huge news: Zayn Malik said goodbye to his 1D bandmates in March 2015 and naturally the breakup got a little ugly. First producer Naughty Boy posted a photo with Malik, writing, “Replace this.” Louis Tomlinson, currently with One Direction, shot back with, “Remember when you were 12 and you used to think those Mac filters for your pictures were cool haha! Some people still do HA!” Zayn chimed in to defend himself stating “@Louis_Tomlinson remember when you had a life and stopped making bitchy comments about mine ?” Snap!

It’s one thing when someone steals your BF, it’s another when she steals your back-up dancer. Holy twerk! In a 2014 issue of Rolling Stone magazine, Swift claims Bad Blood was inspired by someone she considered a friend until, “she basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour.”  Yikes! In response, Perry took to Twitter saying, “Watch out for the Regina George in sheep’s clothing…” -- a popular reference from the movie Mean Girls. Is all this bashing for backup dancers worth it?

  • Adrienne Bailon & Kim Kardashian

In a Latina magazine interview long after the breakup between Bailon and Rob Kardashian, Bailon said that she did not want to be associated with the famous family anymore and blamed them for hurting her career. Kim Kardashian tweeted, "So sad when people try to kick my brother when he is down #FamilyForever." Kim claims that Bailon dating her brother is what brought her into the spotlight in the first place. Bailon's response to Kimmie, however, was pretty authentic: "Fame and a career are two different things. I've always had a career. I have been working hard since I was 15 years old. Being someone's 'girlfriend' was never what I wanted to be famous for. What makes you 'famous' isn't always what you want to be 'labeled' as, or known for. If anyone should understand that... It should be you."

  • Iggy Azalea & Snoop Dogg

I'm gonna love ya until you hate me -- those are lyrics that could’ve been written especially for this Twitter brawl. Snoop posted a picture on his Instagram of an albino woman with cornrows and wrote the words "Iggy Azalea No Make Up." Azalea didn’t find this amusing in the least. She replied with, “@SnoopDogg why would you post such a mean pic on insta when you send your bodyguards to ask me for pictures every time we are in shows together?” Iggy was so livid, she later added, “and every time I've ever spoken to you, you've always been nice as hell, I'm disappointed you'd be such an ass for no reason.”

  • Amanda Bynes & Rihanna

Bynes pretty much invented Twitter wars. And Rihanna, well, she’s had her share of social media quarrels, too. It was inevitable that the two would go at it someday, and they certainly did in this epic Twitter brawl. Out of the blue, Bynes attacked Rihanna, saying, "Chris Brown beat you because you're not pretty enough" and followed with, " You look so ugly tryin to be white.” Rihanna replied with "Ya see what happens when they cancel intervention.” I think Rihanna wins this one!

  • Demi Moore & Kim Kardashian

Think before you post. That was pretty much Demi's message to Kardashian, who posted a picture of herself with Kelly Rowland and Serena Williams and the caption, "Big pimpin. Love u girls!" Demi replied, "A pimp is nothing more than a slave owner! and if we want to end slavery we need to stop glorifying the 'pimp' culture.” She followed up with "Clearly I stirred up a s--- storm, but 2 create change U have 2 be willing 2 take a risk and be willing 2 provoke thought & conversation.” That’s a conversation starter for sure!

  • Nick Cannon & Chelsea Handler

When Nick announced his comedy tour, Chelsea tweeted, "I just heard Nick Cannon is starting a comedy tour. Who's going to do the comedy?” Cannon wasn’t humored and what followed was a slew of tweets bashing Handler. “@Chelseahandler looks like she got hit in the face with a hot bag of nickels” and “@chelseahandler is like the new @joanrivers just without the funny and more plastic surgery.” Is he serious or just joking? Cannon claims jokes.

  • Katy Perry & Miley Cyrus

In a classic case of kiss and tell, Perry implied in an interview that she wasn't really into the famous kiss she and Miley shared. Soon after, Miley tweeted her: "Girl if ur worried abt where tongues have been good thing ur ex boo is ur EX BOO cause we ALL know where THAT (tongue emoji) been.” Perry replied: “@MileyCyrus Oooo gurrrl I'm gonna give you the BIGGEST spanking when I see you in the UK bb!” Maybe this is kissing and making up?

  • Bette Midler & Ariana Grande

Totally random, but yes, the two divas had a social media scrimmage and guess who started it? Midler threw the first punch when she tweeted, "You don't have to make a whore out of yourself to get ahead." Grande threw the second blow, "All love here," posting an old picture of Midler wearing barely any clothes. Midler replied with, "About my screed on @ArianaGrande, all I can say is, "Spoken like a reformed old whore! She does have a beautiful voice, on a couch or off.” Seems like a truce!
