Like father, like daughter. When we met the Full House crew in 1987, dad Danny Tanner (Bob Saget) had just become a widower with three children to raise. Next year, we'll reconnect with the crew via Fuller House, a new Netflix sitcom produced by co-star John Stamos. This 2.0 version will center around Tanner's oldest daughter, D.J. (played by Candace Cameron Bure), who will play a widowed parent herself.

Most of the extended Tanner clan will return for parts big or small, with the notable absence of twins Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen, who shared the role of Michelle. (As of press time, the two have not announced if they will return.) Some cast members hit the big-time since Full House took its final bow in 1995, while others stepped into quiet lives far from Hollywood. Here's a reintroduction to the Full House family, including their whereabouts in 2015 and whether we'll be seeing them in Fuller House.

As Full House's most irresponsible adult, Jesse Katsopolis began the show more concerned with his slicked-back hair and his idol, Elvis Presley, than his nieces. In real life Stamos recently completed rehab, and it was his idea to reunite the cast for Fuller House, the sequel to the series appearing on Netflix in 2016. He's also set to appear in the film, My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2, and Fox’s sitcom Grandfathered.

No-nonense with a wry wit, Rebecca stole Jesse's heart on the show and the couple had twins. Loughlin now has two daughters of her own as well as a stepson with designer Mossimo Giannulli. She's since appeared in a few movies and co-starred in the new 90210 back in 2012. She's returning to the Tanner house for Fuller House in 2016.

Dave Coulier

Joey Gladstone did double duty as a cartoon-loving stay-at-home dad figure in Full House while performing stand-up comedy after dark. Dave Coulier's career is kind of close; his "Clean Guys of Comedy" concert was broadcast in theaters in 2014. Coulier has lent his voice to all kinds of animated characters, and will reunite with his former co-stars for Fuller House.

Candace Cameron Bure

We watched actress Candace Cameron Bure go through the trials and joys of adolescence right along with us while playing D.J., the eldest Tanner daughter. Most recently we watched the now mom of three pirouette her way to third place on the 2014 season of Dancing with the Stars. She's slated to be the central character on the upcoming Fuller House.

Bob Saget

Bob Saget played the wholesome, if nerdy, widower Danny Tanner, and kept his clean image as the host of America's Funniest Home Videos. His stand-up comedy, however, is far less kid-friendly, though it did earn him a Grammy nod. His 2014 book, Dirty Dad: The Chronicles of a Family Man Turned Filthy Comedian, chronicled his life. He'll reconnect with his squeaky-clean alter ego for Fuller House.

Jodie Sweeten was only 5 when we met her on Full House, and while we haven't seen much of her since, her 2009 memoir, unSweetined, chronicled scary substance abuse issues that began soon after Full House wrapped. The real-life mom of two is returning to her role as spunky Stephanie Tanner for Fuller House.

Scott Weinger

Scott Weinger may have been something of a sidekick as D.J.'s boyfriend, Steve Hale, on Full House, but the Harvard graduate quickly took center stage, so to speak, as Aladdin in the Disney movie as well as subsequent videos centered around the namesake character. Today Weinger writes, produces and continues to act, most recently working behind the scenes on 90210 and The Neighbors. He's set to return for Fuller House.

Ashley Olsen

As one of two tots to play Michelle Tanner, Ashley Olsen helped make funny quips, such as "No way, Jose!" and "You got it, dude!" fashionable. Today the identical twin, who shared the Full House role with sister Mary-Kate, is a fashion designer just shy of 30. This year, the duo were named Designers of the Year by the Council of Fashion Designers of America for The Row, their couture line.

Mary-Kate Olsen

As she split the role of cutie-patootie Michelle Tanner with her identical twin, Ashley, America saw Mary-Kate Olsen as a so-called "rugrat" obsessed with the color green. Neutral tones and blacks are more in evidence today, as the 29-year-old fashionista designs apparel from budget to couture, all with a rule-breaking edge.

Andrea Barber

Barber's Full House character, Kimmy Gibbler, was known for stinky feet and a personality not much better. The now mom of two has been busy since, earning both a bachelor's and a master's degree and appearing in a 2012 episode of Funny or Die with castmate Dave Coulier. She's slated to have a central role in the new Fuller House, where she will once again play D.J.'s BFF.

Blake Tuomy-Wilhoit

To make a full house even fuller, Jesse and Becky Katsopolis had twin boys -- played by Blake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit. Until agreeing to reprise his role for Fuller House, Blake had stayed far from the limelight, choosing instead to fight fires in Atlanta -- literally -- as a firefighter.

Upon ending his role as Jesse and Becky's offspring, Tuomy-Wilhoit stayed away from Hollywood for a while, reemerging recently in the HBO series Game of Thrones and in the 2015 film Furious 7. He and his real-life twin brother are returning for Fuller House.

Gail Edwards

As talk show host Vicky Larson, Gail Edwards won the heart of widower Danny Tanner. The former actress keeps her whereabouts these days on the down-low, revealing only that she has chucked the Hollywood life for a less glitzy one somewhere in the Southwest.
