Kate Middleton Just Isn't Working Hard Enough According to Queen Elizabeth

It ain't easy being Queen. After over 60 years of being reigning monarch, Queen Elizabeth is ready for a much-deserved break. The only problem? Queen Elizabeth's break is Kate Middleton's work. Evidently, the 89-year-old is pretty much done with her days of running around like crazy and flying all over the world.

She, understandably, wants to relax and enjoy life now. But, unfortunately for the duchess, that means that she's going to have to be the one to fill Queen E's shoes. So much for spending loads of time with the kids!

According to Life & Style magazine, "The Queen is getting fed up with traveling so much. Her last official visit abroad is likely to be at the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting in Malta in November. After that she expects Kate to fly the royal flag, and there will be plenty of duties to keep her busy. The Queen will still attend U.K. functions though, especially horse races, her favorite."

Yikes! Sounds like the duchess's supposed "cush gig" is about to get a lot more hectic. And, being that she just had her second child, it's not exactly great timing.

Kate likely will have time to get acclimated to being a mom of two before her schedule is seriously ramped up though. Also, odds are William and Kate will do quite a bit of traveling with their children, as opposed to leaving them at home with Carole Middleton or a nanny. It will be a little chaotic, but no doubt they'll get the hang of it, and in fact, it could be pretty fantastic. Who wouldn't want to travel the world with their family?

Also, let's not breeze over the fact that this is coming from Life & Style magazine -- probably not a true "inside source" to all things royal. But, no doubt Queen Elizabeth will slow her busy schedule down at some point, and Kate Middleton will pick up the slack. Hopefully with her adorable kiddos in tow. Good luck, guys!
