Kendra Wilkinson Fires Back After Holly Madison's Memoir Calls Her 'Dangerous'

Holly Madison did not hold back when penning her tell-all memoir, Down the Rabbit Hole. The book focuses on her time in the Playboy Mansion, and Madison did not spare former co-girlfriend Kendra Wilkinson, going so far as to call her "dangerous" when bored.

Among other things, Holly said that Kendra had a "hustler mentality" as one of Hugh Hefner's girlfriends. She also said that Hank Baskett's wife flat-out lied about how she came to be one of Hef's girlfriends in her own 2010 memoir, Sliding Into Home.

In an interview with People magazine, Wilkinson shot back and called both Holly and her book "irrelevant." She specifically pointed out that Madison's book has come years after their Girls Next Door experience, and said, "It's pretty sad. It makes you question the timing, and it makes you wonder, 'Wow, she wants real revenge.' At the end of the day, true colors shine."

Holly accused Kendra of pushing her and their costar Bridget Marquardt away, and trying to keep them from having relationships with the other playmates. Wilkinson has shot back before, saying that Holly was "rewriting history," and that she "made a mistake thinking what we had was real."

Kendra said that Holly is "bitter" about not getting what she wanted in the end. According to the Kendra on Top star, Holly's true motivations were to get a piece of the Playboy pie, so to speak. "The one thing she truly wanted was a piece of that stock, a piece of Playboy and a piece of Hef's will," she said.

Wilkinson continued, "She considers herself a failure because she did whatever it took to get that and she didn't get what she wanted in return. Hef is the most amazing human being."

And she added that she's not the only one who feels this way. "Behind the scenes, people that actually know the truth are laughing their asses off. This is not even real. This person is out for revenge," she alleged.

It's hard to know exactly what's what in this situation, but if I had to guess, it's somewhere in the middle. Holly was never shy on the show about admitting that she wanted a ring and a baby from Hef, but in the years since she left the mansion, she really seems to have found herself and happiness in her own little family. Maybe that's the reason for the timing -- she finally felt emotionally healthy enough to write about her experience.

However it went down though, it's sad that these two couldn't end up as friends.
