Tori Spelling's Outing With Her Mom Is All Kinds of Suspicious

Tori Spelling and Candy Spelling got together last Saturday, and managed to look like one big happy family. Aaron Spelling's daughter and widow were also joined by Tori's brother Randy, Dean McDermott, and a couple of Dean and Tori's kids.

They came together for a charity event for Better Educated Students for Tomorrow, and while a famous family gathering to support a cause may not raise eyebrows in other circumstances, this is the Spelling family we're talking about.

Especially considering that Dean and Tori hosted a fire sale over Father's Day weekend, and sold everything they could from the front lawn of their San Fernando Valley rental home. Obviously the couple is strapped for cash these days, which has us considering the real reason Tori might be cozying up to her very wealthy mother.

Aaron Spelling was estimated to be worth about half a billion dollars at the time of his 2006 death, and Tori and her brother were famously each given less than $1 million of that. Candy basically got everything. And she and Tori have not always had the best relationship.

Like remember the time she blamed Aaron's death on Tori? She told a radio show in 2009 that Tori had abandoned Aaron and "that's what killed my husband actually. He just didn't want to live after that. You know, he had done everything he could possibly do for his daughter, and she wanted no part of him once he couldn't do anything for her."

Hopefully these two have put their differences aside and reconnected for real!

Why do you think Tori and Candy Spelling are playing nice?
