Bobbi Kristina Brown Moved to Hospice as Her Family Prepares for the Worst

Bobbi Kristina Brown has reportedly been moved to hospice care, after months spent in a medically induced coma in the hospital. The Houston family issued a statement on Wednesday, saying, "It's all in God's hands now."

Bobbi Kristina's aunt Pat Houston said via a statement:

Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown's condition has continued to deteriorate ... As of today, she has been moved into hospice care. We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God's hands now.

Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown's daughter was found facedown in her bathtub on January 31, and has remained unresponsive ever since. There have been various reports about her recovery, but this move makes it pretty clear that she's not going to get better.

He continued, "Right now we are focused on Bobbi Kristina's medical prognosis and the criminal investigation. These are the priorities for us. Whoever had a hand in causing my daughter's injuries needs to be brought to justice."

I can't even imagine what this family is going through right now. Bobbi Kristina is so young, and to watch her health continue to deteriorate must be wrenching.

A source close to the family told People magazine, "She's skin and bones now. She has been losing weight, she's been losing hair. They were taking good care of her, but she has no muscle tone at all. There has been some worry that her organs are shutting down."

Our thoughts continue to be with the family during this time.

Are you surprised that Bobbi Kristina has been moved to hospice care?
