Caitlyn Jenner's Father's Day Photo Angers Family of Crash Victim

caitlyn jenner car crashWhile it looks like Caitlyn Jenner had a fabulous time with family this Father's Day, there are some people who aren't too pleased with how she and her kids spent the day. In a photo posted on Instagram, Caitlyn shares that she and the gang went off-roading, a move that's supposedly being called "disrespectful and insensitive" by the family of the woman killed in Jenner's February car crash.

Great day yesterday for Father's Day. We had so much fun off-roading. So much love and support! Love my family!

Sixty-nine-year-old Kim Howe died after being rear-ended by a car driven by Jenner, which incidentally was towing a dune buggy. Her stepchildren are now suing for an undisclosed amount.

While anyone can understand that Howe's family is probably still in shock over her death, it's unrealistic to think that Jenner will never drive again. If outdoor motor sports have long been a hobby, we imagine Caitlyn will continue to enjoy them as long as she feels like it. And nowhere does it say Jenner was the one operating the vehicle.

Also, it's important to keep in mind that this was Jenner's first Father's Day since emerging as Caitlyn and while some might view the post as a bit ignorant considering the accident, it seems more in the spirit of a loving family celebration than a boast about getting behind the wheel.

It's no doubt a "devastating tragedy," as Jenner called it at the time, but Caitlyn has not had her license suspended and has been cooperating with police, so it seems unlikely she'd intentionally cause this family any further pain.

Do you find Caitlyn Jenner's message insensitive?
