Kate Middleton & Prince William Get Massive 'Allowance' From Prince Charles

Must be nice! On Tuesday, a report was released revealing just how much Prince Charles bank rolls his two sons and his daughter-in-law. The palace shared that Charles covers the staff, official wardrobes, and travel expenses for his three kids to the tune of $4.6 million. Damn!

Evidently, Charles pays for his "official" life via the Duchy of Cornwall, a massive estate given to the future king. In March of this year, the total income of the estate was $31.1 million. Not bad!

While Dadsers foots the bill for William, Harry, and Kate's travel, staff, and fancy duds, he doesn't provide any funding for the Duke and Duchess' country home renovations at Anmer Hall. He also doesn't contribute to their personal staff, which includes their nanny Maria Turrion Borrallo and Anmer Hall housekeeper Sadie Rice. What a cheapskate!

Just kidding. It sounds like Prince Charles divides the family's money up well and helps pay for work-related things, as he should -- especially since William and Kate have helped boost tourism in the UK so much and have breathed new life into the royal family. That said, though, how great would it be to be 33 years old and still have an allowance -- and one that's in the millions, no less?

Oh, royals. They're just nothing like us.

Are you surprised by this?
