Maya Rudolph's Impersonation of Rachel Dolezal Is Perfection (VIDEO)

As soon as someone makes an idiot out of themselves and becomes the subject of national mockery, we immediately wonder who will play them on Saturday Night Live. And apparently Maya Rudolph has been approached quite a bit about playing Rachel Dolezal, the white woman who "identifies as black."

Rudolph may not be on SNL anymore, but that didn't stop her from showing off her Rachel Dolezal impression on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Monday night!

She totally nails it, especially at the 2:15 mark.

Who knew that a finger point could be so hilarious? In fact, Rudolph's genius here is all in her expressions and body language, which so perfectly capture Dolezal's wide-eyed terror at being asked if she is indeed African-American.

While I hope this Rachel Dolezal story goes away, because I don't think anyone should be rewarded for lying about their entire family history and identity, it's nice to know that Maya is there to mercilessly mock her. Because seriously, "Are you African-American?" is a yes or no question. Unless you're Rachel Dolezal.

Do you think Maya Rudolph got her impersonation spot-on?
