Are Caitlyn Jenner's Kids Planning to Boycott the ESPYs?

When Caitlyn Jenner announced that she was indeed in the process of transitioning to become a woman, it seemed like all of the kids who call her "dad" were on board. Maybe not as much as we thought though, because at least one of them may be skipping the ESPY awards.

According to RadarOnline, Brody Jenner isn't happy with the media circus that Caitlyn has surrounded herself with over her transition. While he was initially very supportive, he's reportedly pulled back since the Vanity Fair cover and article came out.

An insider said, "Brody had been extremely supportive of everything that she had been doing ... Long before Kim publicly embraced it, he was there."

When Caitlyn planned her docuseries, Brody and his siblings decided not to participate, a fact that she lamented in the VF article. The source said, "Brody is still very hurt about the comments."

The insider continued, "Brody just doesn’t want to be a part of the publicity circus." That apparently includes the upcoming ESPY awards, where Caitlyn will receive the Arthur Ashe Courage award on stage. "If Brody and Caitlyn don’t come to some common ground, he won’t be going," said the said.

More from The Stir: Caitlyn Jenner Makes It Clear She Is Not a Kardashian Anymore

OK, in all fairness, I'm taking this gossip with a grain of salt. Brody doesn't have to be involved in every aspect of his dad's life, show, or events schedule to be supportive. He may just appreciate his privacy a bit more these days. Or maybe he has plans that night. Or maybe it sounds boring to him. We just can't know.

But I don't think it's fair to take Brody's absence (if he does choose not to attend) as a sign that he's turning on Caitlyn.

Do you think Brody was faking his support of Caitlyn Jenner?
