Mama June's Latest Lawsuit Was Filed Against Her by Her Own Daughter

It seems like Mama June Shannon can't escape the drama. The latest round comes in the legal form, as her pregnant daughter Anna Cardwell has filed a lawsuit claiming that she is owed over $201,000 for her appearances on TLC's Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.

On Monday, "Chickadee" filed a suit against her mom and Honey Boo Boo LLC, saying that she is owed $201,000, and that her 2-year-old daughter Kaitlyn is owed close to $100,000 herself.

TMZ reported that the whole family was paid $22,500 per episode, and that one-third of it was to be divided up between the kids, including Anna, 20, Jessica, 18, Lauryn, 15, and Alana, 9.

Mama June claimed that TLC deposited that money directly into accounts for the girls, and that she never laid eyes on a cent of it. The matriarch also claimed that she cut a check for $15,400 to eldest in December -- part of the lump-sum payout they got when their show was cancelled when Shannon was romantically linked to convicted child molester Mark McDaniel.

McDaniel reportedly molested Cardwell in 2003, so she likely doesn't feel the need to give her mom a break. Shannon has repeatedly denied the romance, but TLC cancelled the show after photos emerged of McDaniel and Alana playing together.

Shannon has also blasted the network recently for not immediately cancelling 19 Kids and Counting after Josh Duggar's molestation scandal came to light. One thing's for sure -- things aren't looking so good for Mama June these days.

Are you surprised that Anna is suing June?
