Someone Reportedly Called '911' on the Duggars Last Month

A new report on the Duggars claims that someone called 911 on them in May, after the shocking allegations emerged about Josh Duggar molesting five young girls when he was a teenager back in 2002 and 2003. In Touch claims that the family was being investigated again by the Department of Human Services, and that someone called 911 on May 27 to request assistance.

The magazine apparently has the transcript of the call in its latest issue, but it seems as though someone claiming to be a representative from the Arkansas DHS called emergency services because the Duggars were being "uncooperative" with a current investigation.

The man said he was a Washington Country DHS employee, and stated the Duggar's address. He then reportedly told the operator, "We have an investigation and I guess they're not being cooperative. We have to see the child to make sure the child is all right. So we just need police assistance."

What the? It sounds like someone is trying to stir up more trouble for the Christian conservative family, whose skeletons came bursting out of the closet a few weeks ago when a 2006 police report emerged showing that Josh had molested four of his sisters and a female babysitter.

More from The Stir: The Real Reason TLC Hasn't Cancelled '19 Kids & Counting' Yet

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar addressed the allegations in a sit-down interview with Fox News' Megyn Kelly last week to try and do damage control after TLC pulled 19 Kids and Counting off the air. The show has not been cancelled yet, but is between seasons, and no one knows if they're going to renew or not.

Two of Josh's victims, Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard did their own interview with Kelly, and stated for the record that the whole thing has gotten blown out of proportion, and that the whole family had moved past Josh's teenage misbehavior. Jessa claimed that the media attention now is a thousand times worse than anything Josh ever did to them.

DHS records aren't available to the public, so there's no way to know if there is an actual investigation going on, or what it's about. I'm just hoping it's someone's cruel idea of a joke, because I hate to think that any more children could be in danger.

What do you think is going on?
