Not all celebrity clans are as tight as the Kardashians; in fact, some stars spend more time in the spotlight for their rocky relationships with family members than anything else.

And while we all fantasize about disowning our relatives from time to time, the following celeb squabbles give new meaning to the term "family feud."

Angelina Jolie and her dad, Midnight Cowboy actor Jon Voight, have famously sparred for years over everything from politics to the media, and things apparently haven't been going too well as of late: Voight wasn't even invited to the Jolie/Pitt wedding.

  • Drew Barrymore vs. Jaid Barrymore

Thanks to Drew Barrymore's notoriously rocky childhood, she says today that she's simply unable to have a relationship with her mom, Jaid -- though she feels "empathy and utter sensitivity" towards her, not anger. Good for you, Drew!

  • Jennifer Aniston vs. Nancy Aniston

Jennifer Aniston and her mom, Nancy, reportedly never got along particularly well -- but when Nancy wrote a tell-all book about Jen during the height of Friends mania, well, that was pretty much the nail in the coffin: Jen didn't invite her mom to her wedding to Brad Pitt, and she probably won't invite her to any future weddings, either.

  • Tori Spelling vs. Candy Spelling

From battles over the Spelling inheritance to squabbles over hospital visits, Tori Spelling and her mom, Candy, seem to have spent more time at odds than not. Will these two ever patch things up?

  • Mackenzie Phillips vs. John Phillips

    Image via Corbis

No one could possibly blame One Day at a Time actress Mackenzie Phillips for turning away from her dad, Mamas and Papas singer John Phillips -- not after the years-long incestuous relationship they shared. John died in 2001, so no hope of reconciliation in this life!

  • Justin Bieber vs. George Bieber

    Image via Splash

According to Justin Bieber's paternal grandfather, George Bieber, the pop singer is "too big for his britches" -- or, to be more specific, he buys his maternal grandparents lots of presents and ignores poor old George. Wonder what the real story here is?

  • Noel Gallagher vs. Liam Gallagher

Musician brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher have probably been battling since before they could walk -- their fights were enough to break up the mega-successful rock band Oasis. Recently, though, Noel was quoted as saying he would consider getting the band back together ... if Paul McCartney writes their comeback single. Hey, it might happen!

  • Ariel Winter vs. Chrisoula Workman

Following years of alleged abuse at the hands of her mother, Chrisoula Workman, Modern Family star Ariel Winter was finally granted legal emancipation at the age of 17. She's now reportedly living with her older sister, Shanelle -- and is certainly much happier!

  • Kate Hudson vs. Bill Hudson

    Image via Splash

After Kate Hudson's biological dad, Bill Hudson, pretty much abandoned her as a kid (she considers her mom's longtime boyfriend Kurt Russell to be her "dad"), the guy wrote a tell-all book about his famous family and actually had the nerve to slam her in the press for not being able to settle down with one guy. Sheesh, seriously?!

  • Ryan O'Neal vs. Tatum O'Neal

The youngest-ever Academy Award–winner (for Paper Moon, when she was 10) and her actor dad have had a rocky relationship pretty much from the get-go (even a father/daughter reality show on Oprah's OWN network didn't fix their dynamic). Last we heard, the pair still wasn't speaking.

  • Lindsay Lohan vs. Michael Lohan

    Image via Splash

Look up "Absentee Father" in the dictionary and you'll see a picture of Michael Lohan (also see under: "Opportunist," "Sleazeball"). He'll say just about anything to get attention no matter how badly daughter Lindsay's feelings might get hurt in the process -- and he didn't even invite her to his wedding when he got remarried this fall! Really, Lindsay's song "Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father)" says it all.

  • Madonna vs. Anthony Ciccone

    Image via Splash

Apparently there's been bad blood for years between Madonna and her alcoholic, sometimes homeless brother Anthony Ciccone -- but because Ciccone is so unstable, it's hard to say what happened or why. Did Madonna really turn her back on her brother, as he says, or did he refuse help, as his family claims? We may never know.

  • Jane Fonda vs. Henry Fonda

The acting legend and his actress/exercise maven daughter had some serious differences over Jane's activism during the Vietnam War (guess Dad didn't appreciate that whole "Hanoi Jane" thing). Luckily the pair patched things up while filming On Golden Pond.

  • Eminem vs. Debbie Mathers

    Image via Splash

Rapper Eminem has claimed for years that his mom, Debbie Mathers, was an unreliable and inadequate parent, dedicating more than one song to her failings as a mother. But in 2014, in his song/video "Headlights," he said, "To this day we remain estranged and I hate it though, 'cause you ain't even get to witness your grandbabies grow." So maybe there's hope?

  • Leighton Meester vs. Constance Meester

    Image via Splash

Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester and her mom, Constance, got off to a rocky start -- Constance gave birth to Leighton while in federal prison. Things haven't gotten much better: Leighton has accused her mom of using the money she gave her to take care of her sick younger brother on Botox and hair extensions, and Constance claims Leighton owes her money to compensate for the fact that she "gave up her happiness" to support her acting career. Yikes.
