And here we thought Josh Duggar was staying out of trouble these days. More than four years after legal documents revealed that Josh had molested four of his younger sisters plus another underage family friend as a teenager, it seems the former 19 Kids and Counting star is caught up with the law again. This time it's about a shady real estate deal he participated in, and it looks like Josh will have to appear in court over it.

According to Radar Online, Josh's company is being sued for allegedly illegally purchasing some land.

The site obtained a copy of a new court document, stating that Josh will have to appear in court over his case with fellow Arkansas resident Carl Echols. Echols sued Josh's company, ALB Investments LLC, earlier this year, for purchasing a property that he claimed to have already owned.

The court document read, "The above-captioned cause is hereby set for a three-day jury trial beginning on April 27, 2020 at 8:45 a.m., in Room 208 of the Benton County Courthouse, Bentonville, Arkansas."

Josh's legal team has reportedly been trying to get his company tossed from the lawsuit.

On August 9, the legal team filed a motion to dismiss, but according to Radar, a judge has yet to rule on it. Meanwhile, a Benton County circuit judge in Arkansas filed the order September 6 for the whole case to go to court.

Echols is suing Josh and another man, his own cousin, Edward L. Lewis. He claims he purchased the property from Lewis in the early 2000s for $17,500 but that Josh purchased it several years later for $1,000. Echols claims that he has been paying property taxes on the property in question for nearly a decade. Echols is suing for quiet title, which basically means the court will decide who owns the actual title to the property.

Josh and Anna recently announced that they're moving, but somehow we doubt this is the property they planned to move to.

Considering they listed their old house for just under $300,000 last spring, they're probably not moving to some random property that Josh bought for $1K at some point in the last several years.

This whole thing just seems super shady, and we're honestly wondering what the return on the investment is at this point that Josh wouldn't just count the thousand dollars as a loss and move on from it. After all, he's probably paying a lot more than that in legal fess.

Mostly, we just feel bad for Anna -- she's already been through enough when it comes to her husband.-placeholder

Mostly, we just feel bad for Anna -- she's already been through enough when it comes to her husband.

Plus she's seven months pregnant with baby number six, so we can only imagine how tired she is of all of this at the moment. Here's to hoping that things get settled quickly and easily -- if not for Josh, then at least for her.
