Anne Meara was one of those "every moms" who had a warmness and impeccable comedic styling that made everyone love her. In real life, she was Ben Stiller's mom and the wife of Jerry Stiller -- what an incredible family of talent. Anne passed away on Saturday at the age of 85 leaving behind so many wonderful memories and roles we will never forget.

E! Online reported that Ben's rep said:

The Stiller family is deeply saddened to share the beloved Anne Meara passed away last night at the age of 85. She is survived by her husband and partner in life Jerry Stiller. The two were married for 61 years and worked together almost as long."

Anne's memory lives on in the hearts of daughter Amy, son Ben, her grandchildren, her extended family and friends, and the millions she entertained as an actress, writer and comedienne.

Anne was once a regular on the soap All My Children. And she and Jerry were regulars on The Ed Sullivan Show back in the day. Together they were also on The Love Boat, The King of Queens, along with several movies. You may also remember Anne from her role in Zoolander, Reality Bites, and Night at the Museum with her son Ben. Meara also had a role on Sex and the City and on the kids's program Wonder Pets! where she was the voice of Granny Jenny.

Her career spanned generations and she was loved by family, friends, and fans alike. My thoughts are with her loved ones.
