For those of us who've always found the Duggar clan's politics and practices intolerable, the shocking news of Josh Duggar's sexual molestation charges (victims allegedly included his own sisters) merely served as the final nail in the coffin. But for diehard fans of 19 Kids and Counting, even these horrifying accusations aren't enough to shake their faith -- and these stalwart Duggar supporters are taking to social media to show their loyalty.

Here's just a sampling of the many encouraging comments found on the Duggar family's official Facebook page. You'll see that most of these sentiments revolve around the concept of forgiveness, and nobody being perfect. Apparently "everybody makes mistakes" and "Jesus loves you" are as close to rallying cries as Josh Duggar can hope to get -- but he's still getting quite a lot of them. It's clear that whatever Josh Duggar did, his fans forgive him. Read on:

"I'm sure you don't read these comments as most of them are very harsh and it wouldn't do you any good to read them... but if you do I want to say that I am praying for your family. If we all had to endure public shaming for our mistakes as teenagers we might be a little more sympathetic. I can only imagine what you must be feeling, Michelle and Jim Bob. Many prayers for your family, and for Josh's family. You've been and continue to be a family that I admire and support."

"I dont understand why the devil attacks those who are on God's road but he attacking your family hard right now. Praying for you guys"

Julie Anna Allen

"Hate that your family has to deal with this again. Prayers for you through difficult days of being crucified by the media."

Wanda Berry Haley

"They admitted it, they addressed it. We have all done terrible things in our younger years. Forgive and move on"

Michelle Bartman Jordan

"The thing is, there are LOADS of cases of molestation with teens within their own families. Probably every single person reading this has at least ONE person in their family that molested another young family member or friend when they themselves were young. Kids don't tell 90% of the time. Doesn't make it right, but it does even the playing field. Know what the difference is? THIS family teaches good morals, so instead of Josh or the girls hiding it, authorities were called, counseling was sought and forgiveness was given. Everyone who is bitter about it probably just had a similar experience and are pissed that their family wasn't as strong as this one so it was never dealt with. Josh even confessed to his wife and parents long before he proposed! That does NOT happen, ever! So stifle your bitterness and stop blaming Josh for the badness in your own lives."

"I am so incredibly sorry that you're even having to post this on your Facebook page.

The media can be shameless & so hurtful. My family has experienced the media's lack of knowledge and truth trying to make something out of a mistake & it was so incredibly hurtful to our family. To feel as though you have truth and you're fighting a massive giant such as the media can be so frustrating.

I thank the Lord you have Him as your strength & that with His strength you can face things such as this with confidence knowing you have Him going before you. Your family is in my prayers."

Stephanie Joyner Scrivener

"Thank you all for being so Open and Honest. Guess what?!?! We ALL HAVE A PAST!!!! I do too. Married at 14, divorced at 17, living in sin for well 10 years. I was saved by the Grace of God and knowing I was forgiven when Jesus died for US.... May God continue to keep you blessed and May people see the Good in your family. You all make me want to be a good person. None of US are perfect, Praise God for that!!!!

People, the Duggars are People too. Let's be nice. Let's Not judge. Leave that for God!!! After all, are You perfect????"

Deanna Lynne Baker

"I STAND WITH YOU ! I love you all very much. No one is perfect. We all have flaws. That is why we need Christ ! Thanks again for showing us a better example and being truthful !!"

Tammie Page Ewert

"Prayers for you all having to deal with this now. Satan loves bringing up past troubles that God has long forgiven us for. The devil knows your family is a threat to him....he won't win!"

Jessica Clarke

Perhaps Josh Duggar's defense should be something along the lines of, "The Devil made me do it." Except that he most likely won't be brought to trial, on account of that whole statute of limitations thing -- something Duggar fans are no doubt happy to hear.
