The 'Full House' Cast: Then & Now
It's not as if we're constantly daydreaming about that time in our lives when online shopping wasn't even a thing, or nights when we had to take a trip to Blockbuster (RIP) to rent a movie. But we do get a bit nostalgic about the '90s every now and then. Yes, TV may be pretty great right now (and only getting better), and there are more than enough reasons for us to head to the theater, but there's also a reason that reboots and remakes are the thing to do right now: They just don't make 'em like they used to!
Right now, we're excited for whatever the Beverly Hills, 90210 cast is cooking up, but we also can't forget about one of the old-school series that helped kick off this throwback trend: Fuller House.
Remember how exciting it was to see these cast members -- some of whom we hadn't seen in ages -- reunite on screen for the first time? Remember when we wondered what life would be like for the characters we grew up with? Remember when we had hope that Mary-Kate and Ashley would return to their acting roots? (That's definitely not happening, BTW.)
Over the past four seasons, the story lines on Fuller House didn't disappoint, and we're definitely sad to see the show end after its upcoming fifth and final season. Still, it is nice that we had any follow-up at all. And, obviously, we'll always have the memories (and the episodes to binge-watch).
Speaking of memories, it's kind of crazy to see just how far these actors and actresses have come since the OG days. A few of them first came into our lives as kids -- and now they have kids of their own! (Although, we guess that's how aging works.)
As we gear up for the end (we're hoping for multiple weddings during the Fuller House finale), we're going to take a trip down memory lane, seeing what these stars looked like back in the '90s, what they look like now, and what they were up to all those years in between.
Bob Saget: Then
Danny Tanner is famously known as the loving, caring, neat freak dad on the show. Seriously, he's one of our favorite TV dads who always knew how to bring everyone together.
Bob Saget: Now
Bob Saget is obviously still playing the character he made famous, but he also was the voice behind How I Met Your Mother for all those years and recently got married.
John Stamos: Now
John Stamos is still cool with great hair -- and now he's a dad, too! Plus, Fuller House isn't the only show he's on at the moment. John also popped up on the Netflix thriller You.
Candace Cameron Bure: Now
Candace has had a pretty successful career, becoming a big star on the Hallmark Channel and once cohosting The View. These days, Candace stars in the made-for-TV mystery series Aurora Teagarden and gives us some fitness inspo on her Instagram.
Jodie Sweetin: Now
Jodie struggled with substance abuse over the years, but she did write a book on her experience (unSweetined: A Memoir). She also stars in the TV show Hollywood Darlings with two other '90s stars, Christine Lakin (from Step by Step) and Beverley Mitchell (from 7th Heaven).
Like Candace, Jodie also stars in movies for Hallmark, which fills out hearts with so much joy.
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen: Then
MK and A alternated playing the adorable Michelle -- although, sometimes they were cousins or Michelle's conscience. They grew up on the show playing the lovable and sometimes annoying baby sister. Sadly, we'll never know if Michelle got her memory back as the TV series abruptly ended (it was canceled).
Lori Loughlin: Now
Has Lori aged at all! She went on to have roles on Summerland, 90210, and has made a name for herself in the land of Hallmark. Not only does she bring the feels in Hallmark Christmas movies, but Lori has enjoyed some great success as Jennifer Shannon in the Garage Sale Mystery series.
Lori has two daughters with her husband, Mossimo Giannulli.
Scott Weinger: Now
Aside from voicing Aladdin, Scott has worked behind-the-scenes, writing and producing episodes of Black-ish, 90210, and What I Like About You. We're so happy he's back as Steve on Fuller House and can't wait to see how the final season plays out.
Scott has been married since 2008 and has a son named Mischa.
