Jodie Sweetin Says Sweetest Thing About 'Full House' Reboot

How excited are you for the upcoming Full House reboot: Fuller House? So far, we know how Candace Cameron Bure feels about it (just slightly less excited than we are) and we've heard from John Stamos, Lori Loughlin, and even Dave Coulier—all of whom appear to be on board with the project. But what does little sis Jodie Sweetin (aka Stephanie Tanner) think about it?

Sweetin is set to reprise her adorable character, who agrees to move in with older sister D.J. after she asks her and BFF Kimmy Gibbler for help raising her children following her husband's death. Apparently, Stephanie has traveled quite a bit over the years and was influenced by her Uncle Jesse because she is now trying to get her own music career off the ground.

Here's what Sweetin, 33, had to say about her upcoming role:

I am beyond thrilled! To say I'm excited, I don't think is quite an adequate term for it. I'm getting to do something and have an opportunity to be a part of something I hold incredibly dear to me, with people that are my family that I've known since I was 5 years old. To be able to go back and do this as an adult and really bring the Stephanie character back to life and who she is as an adult, who wouldn't be excited to be able to do that?

Yay! And we are thrilled for Sweetin and can't wait to see her adult take on the free-spirited Stephanie.

For those of you who don't know, Sweetin turned her life around in a major way in recent years. She admits to having had a serious meth addiction and even says she once drove drunk with her baby in the car. To her credit, she has been honest with herself, was able to kick her addiction, and is now adding acting to her busy mommy life—she has two daughters, Zoie and Beatrix.

Sweetin has always been bravely outspoken about her past and is now getting another chance to flex her acting muscles. We wish her the best of luck and can't wait to see Stephanie and Uncle Jesse duet on stage (because you know that's definitely happening. right?).

How do you picture Stephanie Tanner's adult life?
