Kendall Jenner's Incredible Show of Support for Dad Is Every Parents Dream (PHOTO)

bruce jenner kendallI think we are all very much in awe of the Kardashians and Jenners in a very different way today. The family who tends to be in the spotlight because of their amazing hair and outfits have shown us how deep their love for one another goes. This show of support comes right after Bruce Jenner's Diane Sawyer interview announcing his transition. And one of the most heartfelt and tear-inducing posts comes from Bruce's daughter Kendall Jenner who shared her 5th grade message to her dad along with words that would fill every parents heart with happiness.

I wrote this in 5th grade... nothing has changed. ❤️

This is so beautiful, so moving, so telling of what kind of father Bruce has been and continues to be to his children. And that is what it is all about. That is what matters. Bruce is brave. He is a hero. Because of him talking about his transition, he is helping so many people, so many children -- he is educating us with his strength and his words. I truly hope we can all learn something from him -- love, finding truth in ourselves, acceptance, trust, courage, authenticity.

I not only thank Bruce for his bravery (and send him love), but I thank his children for showing their support and love for their hero, their dad, who truly show that it is what is in our hearts that matters most.

And this is also a reminder to all parents to save our kids' school work, drawings, and projects. As we get older, these are the reminders of love that we can look back on with our grown children and cherish every memory while also making new ones. That's exactly what Bruce and Kendall are doing. We often tell our kids how proud we are of them, how much we love them, and encourage them. Knowing our kids are proud of us and admire the people that we are is an incredible feeling that all parents need, too.

Did Kendall's post make your eyes tear up, too? Isn't it wonderful as a parent to know your child still admires you and wants to be like you?
