Kate Middleton Makes Final Appearance Before Baby in 'Scandalous' Attire (PHOTO)

We initially thought the last time we'd see her before her second baby arrives was during her St. Patrick's Day outing, but fortunately, Kate Middleton's real final appearance happened today, where she gave us one last glimpse of her bump in a gorgeous hot pink coat.

She and Prince William were actually scheduled for not just one, but three different engagements today before she officially goes on maternity leave. After a visit to the Stephen Lawrence Center, they will reportedly see an art presentation by XLP in London, and will then tour the XLP community bus and recording center.

Hmm. We have to give her credit for being able to stand her feet being stuffed into those pumps all day. She'll be well overdue for a foot massage this evening, that's for sure.

But while our first response was to ooh and ahh over how cute her bump looks in this bright coat, it did make us do a bit of a double take.

If you remember, Kate caused quite the frenzy when she wore the same coat to the 9/11 memorial in NYC, since some folks thought wearing such a bold hue was insensitive for such a somber venue.

But while the coat is definitely much less scandalous this time around, it does still have us scratching out heads a bit. How on earth is Kate able to squeeze into the same piece of clothing at the end of her pregnancy that she wore back in December of last year? Gah. Some gals really have all the luck.

Oh, and one more thing about this coat -- it's not the first time she's stepped out in pink recently, though obviously this shade of the color makes a statement that's pretty hard to ignore. Could it be that she's telling us once and for all that there is a little princess on the way?

Guess we'll have to wait a few more weeks to know for sure.

Do you think Kate looks beautiful?
