Kendall Jenner Denies Statement About Bruce Jenner's Transition

Whoops! It looks like someone may be facing a libel suit, after reporting that Kendall Jenner had made comments about her dad Bruce Jenner's rumored transition into a woman. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star took to Twitter on Wednesday, March 18 to deny that she ever said anything about it.

Us Weekly reported earlier in the day that Kendall had addressed her dad's transition by saying:

He's a wonderful man. And just because he's changing shoes now, so to speak, doesn't make him less wonderful. I will always love my dad, whether he's a man or a woman.

We thought it was incredibly supportive, and a lovely way to say that she loved her dad no matter what. Well, that may be true, but as it turns out, Kendall never reportedly openly addressed whatever is going on with Bruce right now.

She tweeted:

Whoa. It's one thing to have a source who reportedly said something about what Kendall said to them, but the mag quoted Kendall directly. It's always possible that Kendall said something she regretted and is now trying to take it back, but to attack someone's journalistic integrity is no small matter.

Yes, we're all dying for Bruce to address the elephant in the room and either flat out admit he's decided to become a woman, or explain why it seems like he's in the process of doing so. But you can't jump the gun! For now, the family has decided to remain vague on the topic, and we have to respect that.

More from The Stir: Bruce Jenner's Transition Will Be Complete Sooner Than We Expected

It will be interesting to see how this plays out ... if Us Weekly really did make up the quote, then they have some serious explaining to do. And if Kendall is covering up something she did actually say, on the record, to a reporter, than she owes someone an apology.

What do you think is going on here?
