Azealia Banks Hates You Because You're Fat & White -- Oh & Your Grandma Is Racist

Azealia Banks is seriously pushing the envelope this week, and it isn't just because she's posing topless for Playboy. It's the interview that the 23-year-old rapper did with the magazine that has jaws on the ground, because what she had to say was so offensive, and so racist, that it's hardly believable.

Are you ready for this? I wasn't when I first read it. Here's what Banks had to say about living in the USA (and your grandma):

I hate everything about this country. Like, I hate fat white Americans. All the people who are crunched into the middle of America, the real fat and meat of America, are these racist conservative white people who live on their farms. Those little teenage girls who work at Kmart and have a racist grandma -- that's really America.

Just ... wow. On a side note, she's welcome to leave!

On top of that, what business does she get off hating people because they're white? What's it called again when you loathe someone based solely on their skin color? Oh yeah, it's called racism.

It doesn't matter that Banks is black -- what she said is horrendously offensive. How dare she mock the Midwest, teens with after-school jobs at Kmart, and grandmothers all in one breath. Would she like to take a jab at children too? Because really, if you're going to alienate everyone, you might as well go the distance.

Oh but wait. Maybe she did. In the same interview, Banks shared why she thinks people don't enjoy her Twitter rants:

It's always about race. Lorde can run her mouth and talk sh*t about all these other bitches, but y'all aren’t saying she's angry. If I have something to say, I get pushed into the corner ... y'all mother**kers still owe me reparations! That's why it's still about race. Really, the generational effects of Jim Crow and poverty linger on. As long as I have my money, I'm getting the f**k out of here and I'm gonna leave y'all to your own devices.

So wait a minute -- she's entitled to have money, but white people who are five or six generations away from slavery (on the slim chance it's even in their lineage) owe reparations still? I'm sorry, but what?

She did clarify what she meant about reparations, because diamonds and pearls.

I get annoyed with the fact that I'm even asked to explain myself. Why do I have to explain this to y'all? My little white fans will be like, 'Why do you want reparations for work you didn't do?' Well, you got handed down your grandfather's estate and you got to keep your grandmother's diamonds and pearls and sh*t. I get upset when people are like, 'Why don't you just make music?' What would happen if I couldn't sing? Then I'd just be another black bitch to y'all. It's really f**king annoying. Black people need reparations for building this country, and we deserve way more f**king credit and respect.

Sorry, Azealia, couldn't hear you over the sound of the champagne bubbles fizzing in my ears. Also my pants are a little tight, which obviously means I'm a fat, spoiled white girl, clutching my pearls on my granfather's estate, while my diamonds blind me by sparkling too much in the sun.

Or something.

Do you think Azealia Bank's comments are racist?
