It's been more than three months since news about Lori Loughlin's college admissions scandal first broke. And now, her TV husband is speaking out about it for the first time. John Stamos has opened up about Lori's involvement in the situation.

So what did Uncle Jesse have to say?

John broke his silence on Lori's scandal this week, opening up about her future on Fuller House.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, John Stamos said that he's not willing to talk about how the show will proceed with its final season without his costar until he has all the information. And apparently, that's something they're still trying to figure out at this point.

"I haven't been on the show yet and it hasn't come up, so I'm going to talk to some people about it this week and see what's going on," John told the outlet. "I'm just going to wait a little longer before I talk about it. It's a difficult situation for everyone involved. I don't mean just on our side."

Recently, Candace Cameron Bure, John and Lori's costar, also spoke out about the scandal.-placeholder

Recently, Candace Cameron Bure, John and Lori's costar, also spoke out about the scandal.

When Candace was asked about the situation in an interview with ET earlier this month, she didn't seem to have any info that John didn't have. "It hasn't been discussed," Candace said at the time. "I have absolutely no answer for it and Netflix has not even spoken about it."

Word on the street is that Lori has been dropped from Fuller House, but that rumor was never confirmed. So far, it's not sounding good for Aunt Becky.

Fans are still pretty upset with Lori in general, so it sounds like they're not too concerned about whether or not she returns to the show.-placeholder

People have had pretty strong reactions to the scandal all along. These parents had the privilege to bribe their children's way into college, and it's obviously unfair to kids who have earned it based on their own good grades and hard work. No slack for Lori here ... and it sounds as if people don't think John should have any sympathy for her, either.

At this point, news about the scandal has gone pretty quiet as Lori awaits trial.-placeholder

At this point, news about the scandal has gone pretty quiet as Lori awaits trial.

After Lori and husband Mossimo Giannulli rejected a plea deal that would've landed them a two-year prison sentence, they were hit with additional charges of fraud and money laundering. Because of those new charges, Lori could potentially be sentenced to up to 40 years in prison, although it's not likely that she'll have to do that much time.

The latest update is that Lori and Mossimo are reportedly seeking help from the FBI in getting "reports concerning uncharged parents," but so far that doesn't seem to be working out for them. We're still so baffled by this whole situation, and it will likely be months before Lori's next hearing.

It's impossible to say how this will all pan out at this point, but fans should probably get used to the idea of not seeing Aunt Becky this season at all.

In the meantime, we'll be here, waiting for more updates on Lori's trial. This has been a truly wild ride, and we are so invested in finding out where it's headed.
