Bobbi Kristina Brown's Boyfriend To Get 'Intervention' On Dr. Phil

Bobbi Kristina BrownThere is no doubt that Nick Gordon is going through a difficult time, with his girlfriend Bobbi Kristina Brown fighting for her life in the hospital and him being the subject of a criminal investigation. But is now really the time for Dr. Phil? Apparently it is, because Nick and his mother, Michelle, will be appearing on the show March 11. We all thought it was Bobbi's life that hangs in the balance, but according to Michelle, well, Nick's does too!

According to People magazine, Michelle says in a press release about the episode:

As we sit here right now, my son's life hangs in the balance. He won't let go of the guilt.

He will apparently discuss the "severe pain, mental anguish and panic attacks" he's been suffering he found Bobbi face down in the bathtub of their shared home, and that he will get help with his drug and alcohol addiction.

Hey, I'm all for Nick seeking help. I'm for anyone seeking help who has an addiction problem.

But doesn't this sound somewhat like one of those people who, when you tell them you have a migraine, says, "Yeah, well, I have a brain tumor!"? They've always got to one-up you somehow.

Combine this with the report that Bobby Brown's two sisters, his brother, and their kids are filming a reality series, and that part of it will chronicle Bobbi's medical crisis, and well, this all smacks of her life or death struggle being a perfect publicity opportunity for some.

Bobby Brown is not appearing in the reality series, according to TMZ. Nor will he appear on Dr. Phil.

Who would have ever thunk we'd see the day when Bobby Brown is the one in Bobbi Kristina's life behaving with the most class?

Is now the right time for Nick to appear on Dr. Phil?
