Calling all true crime junkies -- our newest obsession is here. Next month, Oxygen is debuting a new true crime special about the Manson family, specifically focusing on women who were actually part of the serial killer's cult. The first trailer is here, and it already has us interested ... especially because some of these women don't see being a part of the cult as a bad thing.

Manson: The Women follows four of the women who were part of the Manson family in the 1960s.

Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme, Sandra "Blue" Good, Catherine "Gypsy" Share, and Dianne "Snake" Lake are all on hand to tell their stories about Manson in a series of interviews. And as far as what's shown in the promo, it seems like a lot of these interviews are going to be seriously chilling.

Except in Manson's case, his followers were responsible for murdering nine people in 1969 -- including actress Sharon Tate. Manson was convicted of two first-degree murders himself.

There are still so many questions about what really went on in the Manson family, so this documentary could help us understand what being part of this cult was like.

And interestingly enough, the women aren't regretful of the time they spent in Manson's cult.

"I never saw fulfillment and happiness in the people I looked up to," Sandra Good said in the trailer. "I'd say meeting Manson saved my life. I'm thankful."

That's pretty jarring. And according to Oxygen, researchers, experts, and federal prosecutor Lis Wiehl will all be there to weigh in on "the level of control and manipulation -- psychological, physical, emotional -- that took over the lives of these vibrant young women."

The two-hour special airs Saturday, August 10, at 7 p.m. ET.-placeholder

It sounds absolutely fascinating, especially because we'll get the opportunity to see what these women experienced in their own words. And is there any better way to spend a Saturday night than watching a new true crime documentary

We are marking our calendars. This is going to be good!
