Marilyn Manson's Dad Goes Full Goth for Strange Father-Son Photoshoot

Who knew that goth rocker Marilyn Manson's dad had such a great sense of humor? Manson is on the cover of the March issue of Paper magazine, and Hugh Warner got dressed up in full makeup and all black to mess with his son. Is this proof that all parents enjoy goofing off and embarrassing their children? I think so!

The pictures were taken by famed photographer Terry Richardson, who posted several to his Tumblr on March 3. I think my favorite is the one of the elder Warner (Manson's given name is Brian Warner) grabbing his crotch and flipping the camera off, while Manson just covers his face with his hands in mock shame.

In the interview with the magazine, Manson revealed that he's gotten much closer to his dad since his mom passed away last year. They've been talking about his military service in Vietnam, things Manson "never knew" about his mother, and "a lot of things we never talked about before."

He finally convinced his dad to move out to Los Angeles recently, which has given them a lot more time to bond. Manson talked about what it was like to see his dad in his makeup, and said, "That's a good Ghost of Christmas Future ... When I see pictures of my dad, I'm like, he looks like me."

We definitely know where Manson got his warped wit. The interviewer mention the one interaction he had with Hugh Warner. He wrote, "As Manson and I left the interview, the elder Warner called out, 'You know, he came from my nut-sack.'"

There you go -- not even world famous goth rockers with  penchant for the satanic can escape embarrassing parents.

What do you think of Marilyn Manson's photoshoot with his dad?
