Kim Kardashian's Controversial Parenting Decision Is Sure to Raise Eyebrows

Even though Kim Kardashian is an open book, what with living her life publicly on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, her daughter, North West, rarely makes appearances on the show. Once in a while, we'll catch a little glimpse of Nori -- the back of her head or someone talking to her while she's off-camera -- but, unlike Kourtney's kids, she's not a show fixture. And now we can expect to see even less of little Nori, as Kim and Kanye refuse to have their daughter on the show at all.

The Kardashian-Jenner crew just signed on to do KUWTK for four more years for $100 million, but North apparently is not part of the equation. A source told Radar Online that talks of renewing the program "didn’t ever include any talk of having North on the show. It was a no-go from the very beginning because Kim and Kanye made it clear North wasn’t going to be up for discussion."

While it's respectable that the couple has made the decision to keep their daughter off of the show, it's also kind of like, "What's the point?" Kim posts photos of her adorable daughter all the time on Instagram and Twitter. What's the difference if we see her in action?

I have a feeling that this decision was more Kanye's doing than Kim's. From the very beginning, he was pretty vocal about not wanting his kid on TV, which, again, is admirable. I'll be honest, though, I don't really like it. I'll of course sit through four more years of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, but I'd much rather see North toddling around and giggling than Kim putting makeup on and yelling at her mom.

What do you think of this?
