Kim Kardashian Accused of Ruining Yet Another Man's Precious Reputation

Poor Kim Kardashian, even when people are saying nice things about her, they're doing it in such a backhanded way. Earlier this week, we shared the news of how hubby Kanye West admitted he lost a ton of fashion friends when he got together with Kim, casting her off as a runway recluse.

But now another one of her close pals is stepping forward to say he too became fashion circle roadkill for hanging with the reality star.

Givency creative director Riccardo Tisci tells Details about his plight:

I didn't care what people about Kim. In the beginning, I met her because of my respect for Kanye, and then I liked her a lot and we became friends. I got killed because of this. But I didn't care. That is a friend, you see. And that is why, when they got married, they asked me to dress them. They say, 'You've always been with us. You've been a real friend.' If I like somebody, I like somebody. If I don't like somebody, I don't like somebody.

As he mentioned, Tisci is the man behind Kim's gorgeous wedding gown (the most recent one -- gotta be specific) but also the evil genius behind that impossible-to-forget head-to-toe floral getup she wore to the Met Gala while pregnant with North. Perhaps that was some sort of fashion hazing?

He went on to say:

They feel that I'm not there to dress a celebrity. I dress people even when they don't have an Oscar nomination or they don't have an album out. If they're my friends, I respect them to the end. And you need to feel people stay with you because they love you, not only as an artist, but also as a human being. Look at Kanye and Kim -- at the beginning I was the only one.

And much like Kim's beloved hubs, Tisci is at the ready to take credit for her acceptance into haute couture society.
She's a sweet girl. And Kanye and me, we did it together. Every designer is dying to dress her now.
Will anyone ever allow Kim to accept the glory for her own status? I mean, she's one of the most recognizable women in the world, has built quite the little empire (even if it did start off with a sex tape), and has managed to expand her 15-minutes of fame well beyond what was expected. Give a little credit where credit is due, people.

Do you think Kim Kardashian is really a friendship slayer?
