Truth About Kourtney Kardashian's Baby Name Is Shocking at Best

Kourtney Kardashian

Scott Disick is a lot of things -- funny, weirdly endearing, mysteriously mesmerizing to watch. But a baby naming expert he is not. Well, I take that back -- kind of. He's good at naming babies, but his reasoning behind it is flat-out strange. Confused? Let me explain.

According to reports, Scott's new baby boy, Reign Aston Disick, was named after a night club. Apparently, Scott was out at the Seattle night club Aston Manor, and he had so much fun that he decided to bestow the name unto his child so it would live on forever. "He partied pretty hard like he normally does," a source said of Scott's night at the club. "And then he was talking about the club with the managers and a server. He actually said, 'Aston, I love that name. I’m going to name my son Aston.'"

It's a great name, but kind of surprising that Kourtney agreed to this, being that Scott's drinking and partying has always been a point of contention in their relationship -- particularly when Kourtney was pregnant. How could she ever hear the name "Aston" and not think of Scott's wild night out at a club. (Side note: Did anyone else think Reign's middle name was after "Aston Martin"?)

On the other hand, though, choosing a baby name is always tricky. Not only do you have to find something you like, you've got to find something two people like. So, good for Kourtney for compromising -- and smart move picking Aston as the middle name (in the case that she's not wild about it).

Regardless of who or what Kourtney's baby is named after, one thing is for sure -- there no doubt will be thousands of little Reigns and Astons in the upcoming years.
