Duggar Beau's Major Accident May Delay Walk Down the Aisle

Amy DuggarThings have been getting pretty serious between Amy Duggar and her boyfriend Dillon King, and we've even be speculating that we may be hearing wedding bells soon, but if an eminent trip down the aisle was planned, it's going to have to wait until the groom-to-be heals. King was the victim of a horrific head-on collision last week, and completely broke his femur!

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's niece took to Instagram on Friday, January 23, and shared pictures from her beau's hospital room, where he was recovering from having an 18-inch rod put into his leg! You can see the picture of the truck involved in the collision (presumably his), and it looks like it's a miracle he's even alive!

"He had a head one collision yesterday, someone drove directly into his lane and hit him at 45 mph," the 27-year-old aspiring country singer wrote. "He has a broken femur, he has an 18 inch rod in his leg!"

It looks like the frequent guest star on TLC's hit reality show 19 Kid and Counting has been busy playing nurse and prayer warrior to her man. On Saturday, she posted a couples selfie from his hospital room, where's she's been hanging out around the clock to comfort him.

King seems to be getting better by the day! On Monday, Amy posted this one, and captioned it, "He is doing so much better! Oh the power of prayer!"

She even reportedly held a Bible study in his room this week, and no doubt prayed for healing for him. It's so amazing to see loved one relying on God in times of tragedy, and while the answers to prayers aren't always what we want to hear, it looks like this time He healed when His name was called upon.

There's sure to be a long road of recovery still to come, but it looks like Dillon couldn't have a more exuberant cheerleader than Amy. And if these two do end up together, here's to hoping he recovers completely before th big day.

Do you believe in the power of prayer for healing?
