It's about time. The universe has been on Royal Bump Watch Part Deux ever since Kate Middleton announced her pregnancy a few months ago; up until now, the Duchess was yet to bestow a proper bump unto the world. But, finally, on Thursday, Kate showed off her growing belly, and -- need I even say it? -- it's impossibly adorable.

Everyone? You can exhale. In new pics, the Duchess is finally showing. And as a bonus, she even sweetly cradled her baby bump, so we can all go, "Awwwwww."

So sweet! And, of course, leave it to Kate to look positively gorgeous and completely put-together in the dead of winter when she's about six months pregnant. I'd never think of a shift dress like this as maternity wear, but it looks fantastic on the Duchess.

Kate and her bump were out for their first official engagement of the year, an appearance at Barlby Primary School, which she had previously cancelled due to her awful morning sickness. The Duchess, who's royal patron of The Art Room, a charity that provides art therapy to disadvantaged children, was there to unveil a new project from the organization. The kids, unsurprisingly, were all thrilled to see the Duchess, and thanks to Kate's new Instagram account, we got a sneak peek at the crowd going wild.

So nice to see that Kate's finally feeling better and able to squeeze in a few more engagements before baby number two arrives -- because lord knows how much we'll see her after that happens! So until then, bring on the baby bump, Kate. We never tire of seeing you or your adorable pregnant belly!
