Bethenny Frankel's Rumored 'Skinnygirl Marijuana' Sounds Like Sorcery

Bethenny FrankelBethenny Frankel is the queen of the Skinnygirl empire, having developed a line of "diet" cocktails with far fewer calories than the real thing. Now, the former Real Housewives of New York City star is taking things to the next level and hoping to launch a line of "Skinnygirl marijuana."

Yup, diet pot. As in, weed that won't give you the munchies. Dope you smoke to your heart's content, without waking up to wonder who the heck ate your pie.

An insider dished (calorie-free) to Us Weekly, "It will be a specially engineered strain of pot designed to not give you the munchies ... she read about how profitable the cannabis industry is and wants to get in on that."

It sounds like sorcery, if you ask us. Seriously, isn't fear of the munchies the only thing that keep some people from lighting up a bud on occasion? Just me? Hey -- all I'm saying is that during high school, when the joint was handed to me, I passed because I was already too self-conscious about my weight. Plus you know, I was a goody-two-shoes. But honestly -- mostly the munchy thing.

Of course the goods would only be available where recreational pot is legal -- Alaska, Colorado, Oregon, and Washington.

It seems as though Frankel was doing some research over the holidays. She tweeted on December 20 from Colorado, "OMG it's the craziest thing to see marijuana legal in Aspen. People walking into pot stores like it's the @Gap #prohibitiondone."

Dang, it almost seems too good to be true. Legal drugs that help you relax and won't make you want to eat an entire bag of Doritos? Let's just hope that we all remember to get up in the mornings and go to our day jobs.

Meanwhile, we'd all be thrilled if she could get to work on some zero-calorie wine. We love those "skinny" cocktails, but we haven't quite figured out how to cut the calorie content of wine to zero. Just saying.

Would you try Bethenny Frankel's "Skinnygirl" pot?
