Kourtney Kardashian Gets Mom-Shamed for Taking Her Kids on Vacation
Sometimes the haters really outdo themselves. Of all the things people have to complain about in the world, this really isn't one we saw coming, but alas, here we are. Kourtney Kardashian recently shared some FOMO-inducing pics of her incredible vacation to Finland, and she actually got criticized for bringing Mason, Penelope, and Reign along with her.
Kourt shared a bunch of photos on Instagram of the trip, and it looks like it was the experience of a lifetime!
The trip took place last spring, but was featured on Sunday night's episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, so it makes sense that the mom of three is sharing these photos now.
It was another trip with both Kourtney's ex, Scott Disick, and his girlfriend, Sofia Ritchie, which is actually pretty cool for the kids, but that wasn't what someone chose to focus on.
One of the top comments on the post was someone lambasting her for taking her kids out of school to go on vacation.
OK, this isn't even a thing, because the trip happened during spring break. And even if she did choose to pull her kids out to go to Finland and see the Northern Lights, then what is wrong with that? How many of us would do the same thing if we had the money? Besides, there's this great concept called communicating with teachers and making sure the kids stay caught up on school work when they're not able to attend class for whatever reason.
Kourtney addressed the issue herself and pointed out something important.
Kourtney's kids are learning so much about the world through their family's ability to travel, and that's awesome. Plus, you know if she left her kids at home with a nanny, or even grandma Kris Jenner, people would be all over her for "neglecting" them or something.
Thankfully, the majority of the comments on Kourt's photos were overwhelmingly positive, saying things like, "traveling is hands on learning, sights and experiences outside of books," and, "traveling as a family teaches them so many things... nature, science, family values and so much more."
We're just glad that Kourtney doesn't seem bothered by the shamers.
Life is too short to worry what random people on the internet think. We're just glad she's not afraid to share her life and how much she enjoys spending time with her kids. No one should be made to feel like a bad mom over that!
