Amanda Bynes Tweets Rare Photo of Herself After 26 Days of Silence

Amanda BynesAmanda Bynes has taken to her favorite form of social media to make an appearance after nearly a month of silence. Her last tweet was a simple "I'm so rude" on November 10, just days after she dyed her hair purple. But the former Nickelodeon star posted a picture on Twitter on Saturday, December 6, and it was surprisingly normal!

And by normal, I mean normal for anyone, not normal for "Amanda," who has gained notoriety on Twitter over the years for her inflammatory insults to other other celebs and downright vulgar tweets. Not to mention some very accusatory ones toward her parents last month.

Anyway, the 28-year-old star tweeted a picture of herself looking slim in a crop top and fitted pencil skirt. She captioned the dressing room photograph with, "I'm loving Boutique Jules!"

An employee for the store in Valley Village, California, confirmed the troubled star's visit on Saturday, and had nothing bad to say about her.

"She is a lovely girl," they told E! News. "She is the best customer we have had so far."

Wow -- that's quite a difference from her past erratic behavior, and we're hoping it sticks! After a stint in rehab last year, she was released into her parents' care and seemed to be doing really, really well. Then things went to crap for some reason, and she was back to some very troubling behavior towards the end of the summer, including talking to trees, saying she was engaged to a 19-year-old bait shop employee, and even accusing her dad of molesting her.

She was placed on involuntary psychiatric hold again, but was released on her own. She's been public about fighting her parents for conservatorship of her $5.7 million fortune, and in November tweeted that she was diagnosed bipolar and manic depressive, but was taking her meds and seeing her psychologist and psychiatrist weekly.

We're hoping this is a good sign that Amanda has finally turned the corner in getting herself better! Mental health issues are serious and scary, and we want nothing but good things for this girl.

Do you hope Amanda is serious about keeping herself healthy?
