Jordin Sparks Slams Ex-Boyfriend Jason Derulo in 'How Bout Now (Remix)'

Jordin SparksJordin Sparks has kept mostly on the DL about her recent split from her boyfriend of three years, Jason Derulo, but it looks like there was more going on between the two than the good old "they grew apart" breakup excuse. The American Idol alum has been in the recording studio, and her latest song, "How Bout Now (Remix)" has to be about Derulo, and it couldn't be clearer why the pair broke up.

The 24-year-old teased the track on Monday, November 24, along with her collaborators, The LA Leakers. It will be part of an upcoming mixtape "#BYEFELICIA" from the R&B crooner. "Bye Felicia" is phrase from the movie Friday and is used when you could care less when someone is leaving

So already she's dissing her ex, and we haven't even gotten to the music yet!

The lyrics include gems like, "Feeling like I have to get all of this off my chest / I know you are sitting there thinking 'What is she going to do next?'" and, "Remember I deleted all my other guys' numbers out my phone for ya? / Remember when you broke your neck and I had to wash your back for ya? You probably don't remember half of the s--t that I did for ya."

Derulo suffered a neck injury in 2012 that Sparks no doubt nursed him through. The chorus continues, "You thought you had it all figured out back then, boy how bout now? / 'Cuz I'm up right now, and you suck right now."

More from The Stir: Jordin Sparks' Ex-Boyfriend Jason Derulo Broke Up With Her in the Worst Way

Tell us how you really feel, Jordin! You suck right now? Well, he did break up with her over the phone. That's all sorts of cruel.

Another revealing set of lyrics are, "Always been mom's little angel / but once you blew up head got big and you started changing / Can't believe all the things you started saying / Like I'm with you for your fame and your name, what?"

Ugh -- it sounds like Jason just got too big for his britches and didn't take the time to nurture his relationship or give Jordin the attention and respect she deserves. It makes sense, he's even admitted himself that he didn't make time for her, because the music comes first, and he had the music before he had Jordin, so you know.

But if he really did tell Jordin he thought she was only with him for his fame and name, I've got a newsflash -- the only reason a lot of people even know who he is is because he was dating Jordin Sparks. Who's using who again? Just saying.

Take a listen to the whole thing and see if you agree that Jordin is better off without this guy. Warning: Contains some explicit language.

Can you blame Jordin Sparks for writing this breakup song?
