8 Hot Celeb Couples Spending Their First Thanksgiving Together (PHOTOS)

The first Thanksgiving you spend with a boyfriend or girlfriend is a pivotal moment in new relationship, and it's no less a nerve-wracking holiday for celebrities. All over Hollywood and New York, famous folks will be introducing their families and making awkward small talk over green bean casserole, just like the rest of us.

For some A-listers like Sofia Vergara and Robert Pattinson, 2014 also marks a moving on from Thanksgivings traditionally spent with their exes (ahem, Nick Loeb and Kristen Stewart) and the beginning of new traditions with their current squeezes.

Read on to find out which hot new celebrity couples will be baking pumpkin pies and carving turkey together this week for the first time ever.

  • Sofia Vergara & Joe Manganiello

    1

Last year, Sofia Vergara reportedly spent Thanksgiving solo after months of fighting with ex-fiancé Nick Loeb. The couple officially split in May 2014, and the Modern Family actress rebounded with Magic Mike hunk Joe Manganiello, who revealed that they will be eating turkey together along with his very large extended family: "We're going to have a big, big, big Thanksgiving. My brother just had a baby, his first baby, my first niece. So my mother will fly out, and we'll all get together, have the baby's first Thanksgiving."

  • Robert Pattinson & FKA Twigs

    2

Robert Pattinson may have spent his last few Thanksgivings with ex Kristen Stewart, but this year, we have a feeling he might be carving up a turkey with girlfriend fellow Brit FKA Twigs. The couple started dating this summer, after being introduced by mutual friends, and by the looks of the way Rob grabbed FKA's butt during a coffee run in LA this week, we'd say things are going well for the two.

  • Miley Cyrus & Patrick Schwarzenegger

    3

Will Miley Cyrus be sampling some of Maria Shriver's famous baked brie with cranberries and pecans at Thanksgiving this year? Reportedly, things have been heating up between the 22-year-old pop singer and Patrick Schwarzenegger, much to the chagrin of his parents, Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

According to report, they have tried to talk him out of dating Miley, as they are afraid the party girl will "get him hooked on the Hollywood scene." But considering Miley and Patrick were seen making out this week at her birthday party in LA, it doesn't seem like the couple will be calling it quits so easily.

  • Zac Efron & Sami Miro

    4

Considering he spent last Thanksgiving with a broken jaw, unable to eat anything, we're thinking that Zac Efron's holiday this year with new girlfriend Sami Miro will definitely be an improvement! The couple has only been dating two months but have already vacationed in Europe and spent Halloween together.

  • Sean Penn & Charlize Theron

    5

No awkward family introductions will be needed at this year's Theron-Penn Thanksgiving bash! Since turning their platonic friendship into a romantic one in January 2014, Sean Penn and Charlize Theron have not shied away from blending their families together. Just this week, Charlize was spotted hanging out with Sean's 23-year-old daughter Dylan Penn at a fashion party while Sean has been photographed making adorable faces and accompanying Charlize on playdates with her young son Jackson.

  • Khloe Kardashian & French Montana

    6

Talk about having something to be thankful for! After briefly splitting up this fall, Khloe Kardashian and her boyfriend of nine months, French Montana, appear to be back together. Reportedly, Khloe will host her family's Thanksgiving dinner this year, and if tabloid rumors can be believed, she may be announcing some exciting news related to her relationship.

  • Cameron Diaz & Benji Madden

    7

Thanks to this hilarious SNL rap, we already know how Cameron Diaz feels about going home for Thanksgiving. But, considering that her boyfriend of eight months Benji Madden will be performing in this year's Macy's Thanksgiving parade, we're thinking that Cameron might be spending the holiday in NYC too.

  • Ian Somerhalder & Nikki Reed

    8

2014 may mark Nikki Reed's first Thanksgiving since splitting from ex-husband Paul McDonald earlier this year, but she'll hardly spend it alone.

Since hooking up with longtime friend Ian Somerhalder in July, the couple's relationship has gone from friendly to serious in a short period of time.

Reportedly, the couple has already moved in together, and friends have revealed that Ian thinks Nikki is "the one." Perhaps a holiday engagement might be in the works?
