Kim Kardashian Divorce Rumors Take a Bizarre New Turn

Kim Kardashian & Kanye West

Man. It sure sounds like the holiday season is already shaping up to be kind of a bummer for the Kardashian family, as rumors about Kim Kardashian divorcing Kanye West continue to pop up on a weekly basis. Sure, when they're together, they're pretty darn successful at putting on a happy face for the cameras, but it really does sound like Kimye's marriage is starting to crumble behind closed doors.

If a new report from RadarOnline is true, apparently things are much worse in Kimye's world than we ever expected. Supposedly Kris Jenner is forbidding Kim from getting divorced, even though she's totally unhappy with Kanye and would prefer to go ahead and pull the plug.

A source claims:

Kim told her mom that she and Kanye are arguing, and Kris said she'd better fix it because her career won't survive another divorce. It was kind of a threat. Kim's career is on top now and she doesn't want her to screw it up.

(Gah. Way to be a supportive mom, Kris. God forbid your daughter's happiness should take priority over how much cash her marriage can help the family bring in.)

Even though this is only a rumor at this point, is it that hard to picture Kris giving Kim a lecture about staying married for the sake of the family name? Without their "brand," their fame and fortune wouldn't exist, so it definitely makes sense for Kris to have qualms about Kim getting yet another divorce after being married less than a year.

But given how big of a business Kim has built around herself, do you honestly think another failed marriage would hurt her career that much? There's actually a decent chance that it could have the opposite effect and make her even more in demand, especially if she throws a new future husband into the mix.

(Ooh! I wonder who it would be??)

Do you think Kris would really try and stop Kim from divorcing Kanye?
