LeAnn Rimes Slams 11-Year-Old Stepson & Shows How Wicked She Can Be

LeAnn Rimes

Full disclosure -- I'm fascinated by the love triangle that is LeAnn Rimes, Eddie Cibrian, and Brandi Glanville. Ever since it came out that both Eddie and LeAnn cheated on their respective spouses to be together (and that's not something I condone in the least), I just haven't been able to get enough. I think it's because Brandi refuses to stay quiet about being cheated on and LeAnn refuses to stop throwing it in Brandi's face that she got her man! Well, wait until Brandi reads LeAnn's latest revealing interview

So this weekend, LeAnn talked to the Mail Online to promote her new holiday CD. But she also got very emotional as she really opened up about her life, marriage, her step-kids, and more. In fact, I have a feeling Brandi is having a meltdown right about now as LeAnn even dissed son Mason during the interview. Allow me to break down some of the highlights for you here ... and maybe suggest to LeAnn that she's said all she needs to say for a while!

On what LeAnn was like at 11 years old versus her stepson Mason:

I was super-driven as a kid. Even though I was on the road a lot, the teachers would give me homework and I would get it all done. I look at my 11-year-old stepson Mason, and I’m like, ‘I signed a record deal when I was your age. You’re still fumbling with tying your shoelaces.’

On being bullied as a young girl:

I always say: ‘smart, pretty ... unpopular’ because girls can be really jealous. I was terrified of school and I was bullied. When I was 11, a girl brought a knife to school and wrote me a note saying she was going to hurt me with it. Girls can be really mean, even now. It is sad that we can’t encourage each other. I think a lot of girls get intimidated by other people’s success.

On why she and Eddie found each other:

I was meant to be with Eddie. Fans felt as though I was their daughter or sister making a big mistake when we got together, because they’ve grown up with me. But we both acted from our hearts and that’s impossible to turn around. Trust me, we both tried. Look, I’ve said ‘I’m sorry’ and made amends.

On her struggles with anxiety and depression that sent her to rehab:

I had serious depression. People thought I had an eating disorder or was addicted to something. Not at all. I went into treatment for anxiety and depression. I had just turned 30 and I realized I couldn’t live like that anymore. There were very dark moments, but I’m blessed that I had great friends I could call at 2 a.m. when I was crying. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that you can ask for help and it’s not a sign of weakness; it is a sign of strength.

On why she'll never get divorced (again):

Eddie is my soulmate -- he and I completely get each other. We’re opposites -- I want to go shopping; he wants to ride dirt bikes -- but we bring out the best in each other. Divorce is not an option for us. Obviously if something horrible happened, I would have to take care of myself, but I don’t see that happening.

On plans to have a child of her own with Eddie:

I would love to have a kid with Eddie -- I hope it has his dimples! I’ve taken care of people my whole life, so for a long time, the thought of having a child seemed exhausting, but I don’t feel that way anymore. I’ve been working my whole life on the road, and I do wonder, ‘How will I juggle that with a baby? What will have to change? Everything!’ But I don’t want to wait too long. Having Eddie’s kids around has stirred something in me.

I give credit LeAnn for being honest and open, though I do think we know quite enough about her relationship with Eddie. I also get the feeling that LeAnn still feels as if she has something to prove after the very public way her relationship was revealed and in turn scrutinized. I'm not saying that things aren't going well with Eddie, I'm just saying that at this point, she should enjoy the love she's found and let actions speak louder than words! Also, I think the kids should be off-limits in all press -- there is no way what LeAnn said about Mason is gonna fly with Brandi OR Mason. At 11 years old, he's definitely on the Internet and could see it!
