Kendra Wilkinson Reveals Why She Took Hank Baskett Back & We're Confused

Kendra WilkinsonNo one would blame Kendra Wilkinson if she chose to walk away from her hubby of five years, Hank Baskett. After he was allegedly caught cheating on her with transsexual model Ava Sabrina London while she was eight months pregnant with their second child ... yeah, no one would blame her. But the former Girls Next Door star seems to want to work things out, even if it will take a "lifetime" to trust Hank again.

The couple recently opened up about the state of their marriage to Us Weekly, and although it looks as though they're on the road to recovery, there are still some things that don't quite add up.

The 29-year-old former Playmate admitted, "It's going to take a lifetime to trust him again." OK, totally get that. Let's not forget Kendra was so upset at the cheating gossip that she flushed her wedding ring down the toilet.

Hank seems willing to make amends for his alleged transgressions. The former NFL star added, "I will spend my life trying to get Kendra to trust me again."

So what happened? The story has changed so many times that it's hard to know what's what, and the couple doesn't seem willing to divulge the details. All Kendra would say about the alleged affair last June is, "I believe Hank. I love Hank. And he's proven to me that he's worth forgiving and fighting for ... He was at the wrong place at the wrong time, and unfortunate things took place. He’s very gullible and naive."

Kendra said the scandal took a huge toll on her emotional health. "I would cry myself to sleep every night, not knowing what happened," she said. "I was trying to get what I could out of Hank, but I couldn’t control my rage. It became very volatile between us."

Baskett concurred, but seems willing to go the distance to keep his family together. The couple are also the parents of Hank IV, 4, and Alijah, 6 months. He said, "Our relationship is still day-to-day. I'm still working on regaining Kendra's trust."

Here's where things get hazy. If it really was a big misunderstanding, and Hank was in the wrong place at the wrong time, what is there to forgive? If anything, shouldn't Hank be forgiving Kendra for not believing in him from the get-go? Either Hank cheated, and they're rebuilding their relationship, or he didn't, and all hurt feelings on all sides should be forgiven and they could move on.

If Hank didn't cheat, what does he need to be forgiven for?
