Khloe Kardashian's Divorce From Lamar Odom Might Not Happen After All

Khloe Kardashian Lamar Odom

In what could very well be part of the plot of her very own soap opera, RadarOnline is reporting that Khloe Kardashian's divorce might be dismissed by the court since Lamar Odom has failed to respond to the filing, which happened like 10,000 years ago. No really, the case could apparently go into "automatic dismissal" because of how many months have gone by without anything happening.

Soooo, what does that mean for Khloe if the divorce case is thrown out? Duh. We're guessing that means she'd still be legally married to Lamar and would have to file the papers again if she wanted to make sure things finally become ... final between them.

But supposedly there is something Khloe can do in the interim to make sure she doesn't wind up right back where she started before she and Lamar decided to throw in the towel.

A source says that her attorney, Laura Wasser, can file a motion to make sure the divorce is granted, whether Lamar actually wants it or not. (Ahh. You gotta love a no contest divorce state.)

But if that's the case, why hasn't Khloe advised her to do just that? I mean, it's obvious that Lamar has no intention of signing the divorce papers; otherwise, he would've done so by now. If Khloe really wants to get on with her life and possibly consider getting engaged to French Montana, it's probably a good idea for her to take the necessary steps to make sure she's not married anymore.

I hate to say it, but it really does seem like Khloe is clinging to some last shred of hope that maybe she and Lamar can work things out. Well, either that or she just can't bring herself to say goodbye to her marriage, which is kind of the same thing ... so ...

Aww. Poor Khloe. For whatever reason, she can't seem to let go.

Do you think Khloe still loves Lamar?
