Girl Kim Kardashian Wanted to Adopt Says 'Thanks, But No Thanks'

Remember when Kim Kardashian stopped by a Thai orphanage on last season's Keeping Up With the Kardashians and wanted to scoop up a child for adoption (ya know, just like that) and give North West an insta-sister?

Well the 13-year-old girl in question has come forward explaining why she politely, but firmly, said no.

More from The Stir: Kim Kardashian's 'Unretouched' Butt Photos Raise One Big Question

Kardashian's potential adoptee, known as Pink, told the Daily Mail:

Everyone wants to have a different or better life, I suppose. But when I thought about it I realized it wouldn't be good for me, because I would have to leave so much behind. I wasn't ready for that.

That's right, this impoverished young lady had the rational wherewithal to know stepping into the Kardashian-West lifestyle isn't all it's cracked up to be -- wealth, bare butts, and all.

That being said, Pink admits she was flattered by the offer.

I thought she was lovely and I really enjoyed meeting her -- and I loved being on TV, too.

To give you a little insight into Pink's life, she shares a dorm room with five other girls and sleeps on a mattress on the floor, travels 100 miles round-trip daily to attend her province's top government school, and helps with chores around the home on the weekends.

Kinda makes you wonder what North's answer would be if she was given the option of a family to choose.

Pink's mother, who also works at the orphanage, sent her to the children's home because she couldn't afford to care and educate her the way she would have liked. She told her daughter once she graduates from high school and can care for herself, she would offer her blessing for Pink to go and live with Kardashian.

Call me cynical but I think the reality star will have moved on by then, if she hasn't already.

Do you think Kim Kardashian's adoption offer was sincere?
