Kendra Wilkinson Won't Divorce Hank Baskett for Refusing a Lie Detector Test

Kendra WilkinsonYou know what's unlikely to fix Hank Baskett and Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett's broken marriage after he allegedly cheated on her with a transsexual model named Ava Sabrina London while she was eight months pregnant with their second child? Marriage Boot Camp.

Especially if he's not even confident enough in his declarations to take a polygraph test. After faulty reports emerged that Hank had taken and failed a lie detector test, E! News is reporting that a source told them that the alleged cheater didn't even take the test. Which of course only leads us to ask ... whatcha hiding, Hank?

The source dished, "By far, the most intense day of filming was when Kendra heard the audio tapes of Hank and Ava [Sabrina London]. She had a total breakdown. It took a wound that had slowly been healing and tore it right open ... Not long after that, the lie detector issue came up. It's something they do on the show every season. Hank, however, was advised by his attorney not to take it. So he didn't. He never took it."

Another source confirmed the info, saying, "Hank was advised not to take the lie detector test because his legal team had contacted the FBI about Ava. He was advised not to talk about anything related to the investigation."

OK, fine, I guess that makes sense. And it's not like polygraphs are always accurate anyway (especially when dealing with a sociopath or narcissist or some other kind of pathological liar), but still! Wouldn't Hank "passing" a lie detector test do at least a little something to ensure Kendra of his intentions?

Kendra seems to go back and forth over whether or not she will divorce Hank, but one of the Marriage Boot Camp sources revealed that the troubled couple's time on the show "was filled with highs and lows. However, through it all, they shared the same room and the same bed."

They may have even made some sort of recommitment to the marriage and to each other. The person continued, "There wasn't a vow renewal in the traditional sense. At the end of every season, the couples are asked by Marriage Boot Camp directors Jim and Elizabeth if they want to recommit to each other or not. It's a ceremony, yes, but there was no second wedding. Kendra and Hank did agree to recommit to each other."

The insider added, "It's clear they still have a long road ahead, but they did end filming with the intention of working things out."

Kendra recently addressed the issue herself, saying, "I'm not making a rash decision, divorcing or staying with him ... I'm trying to let things happen naturally, let things play out a little longer.

"I found myself in a position where it came down to literally a signature for the divorce to go through and something held me back," she continued. "Something a bit more powerful pulled me away from doing that and the power I believe is my heart."

Kendra seems to have good intentions, and one thing is clear -- if they end up in splitsville anyway, she'll be able to know she did absolutely everything possible to save the marriage.

Do you think Hank made the right decision skipping the lie detector test?
