Jessa Duggar & Ben Seewald Have An Emotional, Tear-Filled Wedding Rehearsal

jessa duggar seewald benThe Duggars know how to do a lot of things really well. Clearly, they are excellent multi-taskers, they know a thing or two or 19 and counting about family, and we can add emotional wedding rehearsals to the list. The sweet Jessa Duggar, 21, and her fiance, 19-year-old Ben Seewald, had a beautiful gathering last night to prepare for the big day today. The menu will make your belly hungry, but the speeches and outpouring love and support will warm your heart.

After practicing for the walk down the aisle at First Baptist Church in Bentonville, Arkansas, groom-to-be Ben had some beautiful words for the guests:

When I look at all the faces surrounding us tonight, I don't know how to thank all of you for investing in our lives, and in our life together. Y'all make us feel so special.

Engaged since August 14th, Ben and Jessa haven't wasted time preparing for the wedding. But when it comes down to it, all you need is love, right? Proud dad Jim Bob said that Jessa chose to have a simple wedding -- she even spent most of the rehearsal barefoot. (Don't go jumping to conclusions on what that means.)

After doing a run-through, Jessa and Ben were treated to video tributes put together by family and friends. Christian comedian Tim Hawkins was even featured joking around about how it's hard to find any dirt on these two good kids. His big joke was "Want to see how a Duggar boy rebels?" and then he did the unthinkable -- he unbuttoned the top button of his shirt. Oh, Duggars!

The menu sounds delicious -- an impressive mix of comfort foods like Frito pie, and pumpkin and apple caramel streusel. They all toasted with iced tea, naturally. Then the tears started flowing. Ben, who is the oldest of seven children, looked on as his dad Michael called the union a blessing. Jinger Duggar spoke of the close bond she and her sister have, as did Jill Dillard the newlywed, who said:

Jessa and I shared a lot with us being in relationships and us getting married, and now they are following along. We have great examples in our parents that love doesn't have to end. Spend lots of time together and remember, the honeymoon doesn't have to end.

Most excellent advice. Jill's husband Derick made sure to get in "And we're looking forward to seeing more cousins" because as you know they are expecting a baby boy. Nothing like some Duggar love to warm the heart. Can't wait to hear all about the wedding and that true first kiss!
