Khloe Kardashian Admits Relationship With French Montana Isn't Over

Khloe KardashianIf there ever was a rebound from a bad divorce with Lamar Odom, his name was French Montana. Khloe Kardashian fell into a hot and heavy relationship with the rapper shortly after officially calling it quits with her ex-NBA ex-husband late last year but dumped the allegedly clinger just over a month ago.

None of us were surprised, but most of us were relieved anyway. Let's face it, when the best thing you have to say about a couple is, "Well, at least she seems happy," they're probably not going to last. So we're more than a little concerned that Khloe recently admitted that she's still talking to French.

In an interview with Us Weekly to promote Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons, the reality star was asked if it would be "weird to see their relationship play out on the show." She said it wouldn't.

"It doesn't bother me at all. I think it's cute," the 30-year-old said. She continued, "I love memories ... and I still talk to him. There's no bad blood or anything."

Huh. Could that mean she's really not over him? It's one thing not to have bad blood with an ex, but it's another to still keep them around to talk to, especially so soon after a breakup. Even if she is the one who did the leaving, ending a romantic relationship is still an incredibly painful process.

But Khloe doesn't seem to be that hurt at all over over the situation and in fact still talks about him as if they were together or dear friends. While she continued talking about Montana's involvement on the show, she practically gushed about him.

"I think it's cool, and I like that people get to see a part of our relationship," she said. "I think people are so quick to judge ... and I don't think it's fair to judge people by appearance or what you think you know about them."

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star also dished about how she feels that French made her a better person while she was in the relationship, which is not usually something you say about someone you're over.

"We went to South Africa in the first episode," Khloe gushed about her trip with Montana to the MTV Africa Awards. "I had so much fun, and I really love how ... we were only there for like 48 hours, but he planned so many things. I might be like, 'Ah, I need some time to let my jet lag kick in.' I like that he pushes me to do things that I probably wouldn't do."

Hmmmm. They may have broken up, but it looks like this relationship is far from over.

Do you think recent exes can be good friends?
