Tori Spelling Reportedly Hospitalized for Nervous Breakdown

Tori Spelling in Hospital

Tori Spelling checked herself into the hospital over the weekend because she thought she was maybe exhibiting Ebola-like symptoms. Thankfully she was cleared of Ebola but she's STILL in the hospital! Why? Well, TMZ is reporting that Tori MIGHT be in the midst of a nervous breakdown!

If you ask me, I have to say, I totally see how that could be the case (though I hope it's not). Tori posted a picture on Instagram yesterday (see above) from her hospital bed with a very telling and heartbreaking caption that was obviously directed at her husband Dean McDermott.

"This sick in hospital I finally see how quickly life can take it all away from you. We all need 2 step up frm inside& go 4 it! W/our friends by our side. Sadly I've finally faced truth that 1 person will never be there 4 me #TrueTori"

I think it takes a lot to put on a brave face in public when things are falling apart behind the scenes. Tori's revealing docu-series True Tori returned for season 2 on Lifetime on Tuesday night. It SEEMED that maybe things with Dean were getting back on track as they admitted during a therapy session that they had sex for 16 days in a row. But sex doesn't make up for all the resentment Tori obviously still feels toward her cheating husband. Pair that with the constant stress of having your relationship scrutinized in public, the non-stop pace of caring for four young children, and being in a marriage without a lot of trust and boom—a breakdown doesn't sound impossible.

TMZ is also reporting that Tori and Dean are not just having some financial bumps in the road, but they're flat out broke. They also say that Tori fears Dean is drinking again and skipping AA meetings—a red flag that he'll start cheating again too. Friends also say that Tori faked the Ebola symptoms and created such drama around it by not eating and sleeping that she literally made herself this sick.

I've always rooted for Tori (I'm a lifelong Beverly Hills, 90210 fan—Donna Martin Graduates forever!) and have really felt heartbroken for her this past year. Some have said that Tori brought this on herself by airing so much of her dirty laundry in public. Maybe so but she's put herself out there and even positive things like her ABC Family sitcom Mystery Girls failed. Take the cameras out of the equation and Tori has a lot on her plate. I hope she starts to put her health first so she can be there for her kids and be strong enough to make the right and healthiest decisions about her future. Perhaps it's time to turn the cameras off for a bit.

Are you surprised to hear that Tori might be having a nervous breakdown?
