Kate Middleton's Decision to Leave Kensington Palace Can Only Mean One Thing

Not too long ago, it was reported that Kate Middleton would not be going to her parents' house after the birth of her second child, as she did with her first, Prince George. Reports claimed that, despite the Duchess being extremely close with her family, she felt much more "confident" this go round, and would be staying at Kensington Palace instead. But, not so sure that's going to wind up being the case. According to People, Kate has been staying with her parents ever since she came down with her horrible bout of morning sickness.

There truly is no place like home -- even if you live in a castle.

A source close to the royal says that Kate is still "not at all well, the poor thing," and that she wanted the peace and comfort of her parents' home in the country. "When she's there, Kate can just relax and sit on the sofa and not have to worry about having to deal with all the staff and everything else that comes with a big palace full of rooms," said the insider.

As glorious as it would be to live in a gigantic mansion with a staff waiting on your every beck and call, I can definitely see how it would get a little ... intrusive, were you feeling incredibly sick for weeks on end. I know it's a cliche, but when you're under the weather, you really just want your mom -- even if you are a princess.

Hopefully, Kate will be on the up and up soon, as it seems she's been suffering from this awful morning sickness for quite some time now. After canceling her trip to Malta, the Duchess also had to back out of an engagement at one of her charities, the Art Room, last week. Maybe after a weekend full of ginger ale, Saltines, and crappy reality TV on her parents couch will do the trick. Fingers crossed!

Are you surprised the Duchess still isn't feeling well?
