Kendra Wilkinson Says Hank 'Deserves Second Chance'

kendra wilkinsonThe news involving Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett's marriage seemed to get worse when we learned that not only did Hank cheat on her with a transsexual model named Ava Sabrina London, he did so when Kendra was eight months pregnant. Kendra was gestating their baby number two and he was out doing the unthinkable with some woman. Heartbreaking. Kendra stayed quiet on the topic for some time, which made us think it was all gossip and not a hint of it was true. But that ended up not being the case. Still, we all know the power of love, and it's clear Kendra still has love in her heart for her man.

Cue "Stand by Your Man"? Maybe. Kendra is saying that Hank "deserves a second chance."

On Access Hollywood Live yesterday, Kendra said about her marriage and husband:

Life is too short ... and this man who I loved for six years, I believe deserves -- and everyone around us ... everyone knows that this man deserves a second chance if he did make a mistake. And right now I'm working that out.

What a sweetheart. She's right. Life is too short. And when you love someone, you forgive. You work through the problems together. That is true love. I guess when they work through this, they will see if their love is strong -- as strong as they had hoped it was -- and they can get through this. It may not though. They may learn there is no more love there. When she was asked if they were getting divorced, she added:

I honestly don't have a decision right now. This has been a lot to handle, and a lot for me to think about, especially after giving birth to a baby. But at the end of the day, [Hank] comes from an amazing place, an amazing background. He's a perfect guy. He's never done me wrong. He's not like some douchebag. He's never treated me wrong. And he's an amazing father.

Kendra also admitted that even though she kicked Hank out after she heard about his indiscretion, when she saw the look in her son's eye when he knew his dad wasn't going to live with them anymore, she reconsidered. "I kicked Hank out, and I saw it in little Hank's eyes. And at that moment, my son was looking at me like I was the bad guy. And I had to make a really quick decision to bring Hank back, because little Hank would have been mad."

Breaking up when you have kids makes everything so much harder. It seems that Kendra and Hank have been talking a lot, trying to understand what happened and why. She admits that she wasn't emotionally there for Hank when he needed her. And she pushed him away. Between Hank's therapy sessions and being on TV, Kendra says it's really forcing them to talk about it with each other without burying the emotions or pushing them aside.

Things happen. People make mistakes. Forgiveness is a beautiful thing. I'm so happy to hear that while this is all such a difficult thing for a family to go through, Kendra and Hank are working really hard to heal. Time will tell if she means that Hank deserves a second chance to be a great husband, or if that just means the marriage is over, but he deserves forgiveness, and we should not make him a villain for his mistake.

Do you think Hank deserves a second chance?
