Amanda Bynes' Parents Have No Idea Where She Is

Oh, Amanda Bynes. Just when we thought you were on the up and up. Only a day after finding out that Bynes was arrested for DUI, it's being reported that things are so, so much worse than that. (Yes, things can be worse than a DUI when you're Amanda.) According to TMZ, in addition to allegedly using drugs again, Bynes was also kicked out of fashion school. According to the site, Amanda showed up at class at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Irvine high on weed (when she showed up, that is), and even offered other students money to do her homework. A student who was in one of the child star's classes claims that Amanda would often wear sunglasses to class and would laugh at inappropriate times. She also supposedly got into "horrendous arguments" with people, and when she was recently called out for cheating during a test, she threw a massive fit.

It's so upsetting that this is the state that Amanda is still in. Thankfully, she's off of Twitter, but it really seemed like she was doing well for a while. Apparently, things got "bad again" when Amanda decided to move out of her parents' house and be on her own once more. She's an adult, so no one can really stop her from going out on her own, but clearly she still needs to be under someone's supervision.

It's hard to imagine what her parents must be feeling right now. Not long after their daughter left their watchful eyes, she started falling apart again. According to reports, Amanda's mother and father didn't even know she was arrested or using again until the rest of the world found out. She apparently left their home in Thousand Oaks, California, after her mother's conservatorship ended in June and moved to Orange County. After she was arrested, Amanda's father told website X17Online, "We know nothing about [her arrest]. We were called by the press. I'm getting calls all day long. That's all I know." Her parents also reportedly haven't heard from their daughter since the arrest and don't know of whereabouts. Her father added, "She's 28. She does what she wants."

Talk about heartbreaking. It's incredibly sad to see someone who once had such a promising future ahead of them throw it all away for nothing. But it's even more sad to think about how helpless her parents must feel right now, knowing there isn't anything they can do for their daughter.

Do you think Amanda will ever get it together?
