'Jersey Shore' Star Indicted for Tax Fraud & Faces Prison Time

The party may be over for a Jersey Shore alum. One of the notorious reality TV show stars is being indicted for tax fraud. They allegedly failed to pay all the taxes owed on $8.9 million in income. Charged with conspiracy to defraud the United States, it could mean three years in prison and fines of $250,000 for falsifying tax returns. So which Gym-Tan-Laundry fanatic is headed to the slammer?

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino! It looks like he, along with his brother Marc, have been charged with the federal crime. In addition to the sentence above, he also faces a separate count alone for allegedly failing to even file a return in 2011. That carries a one-year sentence and another $100,000.

That's a stark contrast to the lives of Jersey Shore's other standout stars. Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi has put the reins on her party-girl ways and is now expecting her second child. Along the same lines, Jenni "JWoww" Farley is a new mom as well.

And get this, Mike is being investigated by the same office that prosecuted Teresa and Joe Giudice -- the Real Housewives of New Jersey couple that are headed to jail. My, how his situation has changed. Yes, Mike's had his ups and downs -- he went to rehab in 2012 -- but things were looking up for him last year when he landed the TV Guide Network reality show about his family, aptly titled The Sorrentinos. Now he faces some serious jail time.

How do you think The Situation will fare in prison?
